Sickman 205 July 13, 2013 Share July 13, 2013 I'm not a huge fan of anime, but once in a while I run into something worthwhile, and Elfen Lied was definitely all that and more.I liked the character of Lucy, and the idea of this next step in the human evolution, the Diclonius, who are capable of using these sort of extradimensional, telekinetic weapons, called "Vectors".I only saw the anime series, and don't know anything about the Elfen Lied -universe beyond that, but I'd definitely like to find out more. Ihei 713 July 16, 2013 Share July 16, 2013 I think Scootaloo fascinates me the most in MLP. Why? I like that she looks up to Dashie and is so determined to be her, but why is she so determined makes me like her. :
Clockwork Chaos 219 July 17, 2013 Share July 17, 2013 Rarity. And here's why: Firstly, we've seen the rest of her family, they're not 'proper' in the slightest, so Rarity is going against how she was brought up to be who she wants, more to that point, her Cutie Mark doesn't make her a fashionista, her cutie mark helps her find gems... lets be honest, if she let her CM dictate who she was, she'd be a miner. She's the only pony that disregards her CM to do what she loves. and i respect that.
~StatesTheOblivious~ 1,795 July 17, 2013 Share July 17, 2013 (edited) FiM: Difficult. I don't have afavorite pony, but if it goes for the qualities, I'd say Applejack, because she has many chracteristics I don't have. Other: Kaworu Nagisa from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Even though he just had a few dozens of lines, less than seven minutes of screentime and then died and was an enemy to the main characters in the end, he was an outstanding character. He was more human than many humans can ever dream of. He accepted the protagonist, Shinji, how he was. Shinji, a boy who never could really relate to others found a friend in Kaworu at an instant. And then Kaworu had to die because of what he had to do and what he was. Tragic... Can't write everything here, would be too spoilery, in case you ever watch the Anime. Dreambiscuit 9,691 May 20 Share May 20 Asajj Ventress: She’s a fascinating reversal of the struggling Jedi, she’s a struggling Sith. Instead of a flawed hero, she’s a flawed villain who just can’t seem to measure up to the image she’s created for herself. That’s not often seen and she does it well. Barbara Thorson: The lead character in ‘I Kill Giants,’ she walks a fine line between reality and fantasy, without revealing exactly which is which, or why. It’s up to the viewer’s deduction, observation and intuition to unravel the character and what makes her tick. The movie ultimately tries to explain her from a psychological standpoint, but there is also a reality in play that is clear to see, for those who choose to scrutinize it. Severus Snape: Although he’s portrayed as the villain throughout the Harry potter series, he’s the most misunderstood and heroic character of them all. It’s one thing for Harry, Ron and Hermione to be the heroes because their path is drawn out for them and uncomplicated. Snape’s reality is hidden from everyone and utterly tragic. He should have been the one to marry Lili instead of that jackass James Potter who, with his stalwart band of brave bullies, tormented the solitary young Snape and ends up winning the girl for his efforts. Everyone exalts James while despising Snape, and I think that sucks. Snape is the real hero but only gets credit after all is said and done. That’s a little too late in my opinion.

All the Eva characters are so damn fascinating to me. Even Kaworu, who only shows up towards the last few episodes, has so many layers and dimensions to him.
