I've been so hyped for X and Y I've been nuzlocking my HeartGold version I just can't stand it. I just hope I can get my 3DS to work for long enough so that I can get a new 3DS. I've preordered X and I've only done so because I wanted to be different from all of my friends who wanted to get Y, and it seems that all the pokemon with two mega evolutions are getting the cooler one put into X. I didn't even know about the kanto startes second mega evolution until just a minute ago and X mega Charizard looks awesome. I grew up playing pokemon and my first experiences will be etched into my mind forever, so it really almost brings me to tears of joy to see some pokemon I grew up with getting even better. I'm indifferent abouts the new fairy type. I honestly don't really care about it and will judge it when the actual game comes out, but it may take me some time to get used to some older pokemon like clefairy or jigglypuff being a different type than what I am used to. I'm still kind of ify on who my starter will be. I'm usually the guy who always chooses fire type and it has been that way for a while, but I have more recently been into pokemon who are more like defensive walls so I may end up choosing the grass type (haven't learned names of starters yet).

I hope that Venasaur, and Blastoise get an 2nd mega-evolution too, if Charizard was the only Kanto starter that got one it would seem kind of like Nintendo was playing favorites.

 

Anyways, I have the feeling that X will be more popular. The first name (GOLD and Silver. RUBY and Sapphire. DIAMOND and Pearl.) always seem to be more popular.

 

It isn't the first name, it's the more powerful/rarer element, Gold's more valuable than silver, Diamond's more valuable than Pearl, Ruby's more Valuable than Sapphire, It's depending on what it is, it doesn't always work that way.

 The new charzard's mega is nice its awesome they they finally made atleast one Charzard a Fire/Dragon. cant wait to nuzlocke one of them...the only problem is which one to buy i cant decide

If you'd want to Nuzlocke with a Fire/Dragon I'd choose X, X seems to be a lot more popular, and seems to have more upsides so far. :3

I was thinking X but the mewtwo looks so ugly in it lol but I guess you cant go wrong with a Dragon Charzard, which he totally should of been from the start xD but I guess a dragon starter might be a bit overkill :<

You're right on that end, it could be an over-kill, unless the Mega-Evo for charizard is a Post game sort of thing, Mega-Mewtwo looks terrible, though I really wasn't looking to use Mewtwo anyway, It's just depending on if any more leaks come out, to see which is the more dominate one.

Honestly I probably wouldn't use Mewtwo either mostly because I have a massive obsession with Umbreon so I'm hoping if I get on in the nuzlocke it doesn't die instantly to some random crit (that happens way to much when I battle my friend...I hate bug buzz)

Wait, you dual Nuzlocke with your friend? If not I'm sorry didn't understand that much... 

But I get the umbreon obsession they're amazing, I myself have an obsession with them too, Same with Espeon.

No lol I mean in a game i'm not Nuzlocking like Black 2  though it would be amazing to race my friend to the end of a game while doing a Nuzlocke but he doesn't like the rule that pokemon get released if they feint

One doesn't really exactly need to release them, just place them in a separate box and no longer use them, it's what I do, so I don't need to release tough pokemon.

I simply don't like to race, I like to take my time when I play Pokemon or any other role-playing game like that. I participate in Nuzlocke challenge in some cases in order to challenge my abilities somewhat. Then after I've beaten the main storyline I catch and train many, many Pokemon. XD

To be fair, my Volcarona's bug buzz one-hit-KO's your Umbreon regardless of crits. Besides, I don't remember hitting you with a crit on that attack more than once o.o

to be fair we also don't battle much because you hate my umbreon lol also its happened a few more times than one but w/e lol its just a game anyway I'm pretty sure all bug moves kill my umbreon in one hit

I think this is what you mean: I don't think it's coming out until December though, but it seems like it'll be really efficient and I'm really happy they're finally giving us a faster way of trading!

If you follow the link, you'll see all 16 leaked Pokemon from this new generation, including the final forms of the starters,  as well as a new Vivillon form and more mega evolutions. Mostly because the games were accidentally released early somewhere in Canada and somewhere in Italy, but anyway...

Thanks for sharing. There were some on that page I never seen before. Some of those pokemon look awful. I hate pokemon that are based off of inanimate object. To me, that was just lazyness. other than that, those mega evolutions look boss.

I gotta say that kinda sucks Garbador do-do, I was hoping to be able to use the service as soon as I was done with the game's main story. Oh well, not much I can do about it, unless the transfer tool thing comes out before it and can work seperately to the bank but it seems like it only works so you can transfer Pokémon from a gen 5 game to the bank I think.

So yeah, more waiting, yay...

I actually really like these starter final forms a lot. I don't think anyone imagined Chespin's final form to look anything like it does, but Chesnought has a very unique design, and I'm really liking the fact that it isn't smothered in the color green like all Grass starters before it. I'm also loving Greninja. The use of the tongue was a very creative touch, and I am absolutely thrilled to have a Water starter that possesses some speed for a change. Delphox does not look quite like I was hoping, but it continues to grow on me. Fennekin was my favorite from the start, and I will still choose it as my starter. These are are a huge step up from Gen V's starters in terms of typing as well. I really can't wait to use these babies.
