Ok i just figured since this thread hasn't been talked on in a while that i'd post the newest trailer, i hadn't seen it, and far as I know nobody else has posted any of the trailers for that matter.

 

So heres trailer number 5.

 

Seems like it shows the legendaries new moves, along with maybe a few new moves thrown in and some gameplay footage of the newer pokemon.

 

Also has some stuff with Professor Sycamore. So yeah its cool.

 

Oh and i'll just go ahead and post the other 4, because they haven't been posted anyways.

Enjoy recapping all the footage from the game! Or well most of it, i'm pretty pumped for it, and i've been playing plenty of pokemon recently .

Maybe we get our starters later this time. The lab isn't very close to the freak in town anymore. I mean, we do get the pokedex from one rival, not anything close to the normal professor...

Well maybe so, idk Its possible, it would be nice to change things up a bit maybe as far as the routine goes.

 

That said its hard to do much without any Pokemon in a pokemom game so idk.

I am super excited for the new legendary, I love stag's and am very very pumped for this addition.

As a fan of pokemon from the begining who feel off during gen 4 and 5 i am happy to come back  to a more interesting  pool of poke pals. I am hoping for no ice cream cones.

Honestly, just want more info on fairy type. Please tell me it gets useful resistances (I'd be ecstatic if it resisted or null'd dragon). And I'm curious as to the method of evolution they're going to go with for Sylveon. A stone, a specific area, or maybe something new?

 I just hate that they made a pokemon you can murder in it's sleep with a spoon.

Litterly you can just wake up in the dark start eating a midnight snack and find out it was murder.

Yeah, i'd be interested to know, theres specutation, which is valid and all, but nobody knows for sure.

 

I think that it should atleast resist dragon or something, but thats just me.

 

And I have no idea what they'll do with Sylveon, i hope its awesome.

 

On a side note, i was watching this guy on youtube, and he apparently had some exclusive news, i have good faith that what he says is probably true, so i'm happy to hear he has a little bit of info.

 

According to the video there is going to be another Eeveelution besides Sylveon, which sounds awesome!(Of course depending what it is i'm thinking i'll still get Sylveon, to get use to fairy type.)

well its been confirmed that fairy is immune to dragon. nothing else on other resistances or weaknesses yet. they also said that they're working on something different for getting sylveon but they haven't even hinted at it could be yet

Yeah, thats a good policy, i try not to confuse rumors and speculation with the real stuff.

It was in one of the pokesmash videos where they did some acting to show what type sylveon might have, be strong/ weak against. I remember seeing it since it convinced everyone that there was a new type on the way (nothing was strong against dragon and weak against steel + poison)

 

According to the video there is going to be another Eeveelution besides Sylveon, which sounds awesome!(Of course depending what it is i'm thinking i'll still get Sylveon, to get use to fairy type.)

 

Well, if they do introduce another eeveelution, I guess dragon is a relatively safe bet. Personally, I'd prefer ghost or poison.

Its ok, i had alot of stuff that was speculation that gets mixed up in my mind with other non speculations and i wonder which is speculation and which isn't .

Eh, well to be fair Espeon and Umbreon where released in pairs and Umbreon is strong(Heck dark is immune to Pychic right?) against Espeon, so idk i don't find it that weird.

 

I think some speculators have used that reason actually.

 

Leafeon is weak to Glaceon.

 

The original Flareon Jolteon and Vaporeon are of course weak and strong to each other in a triangle.

 

So idk i don't find it that strange, but thats just me.

Its a interesting theory.

 

That said there are alot of pokemon that look quite feminine that can still be male, so who knows.

 

Also apparently its going to be a new way of doing things or something for the Evolution for Sylveon, so idk.

I certainly hope not since around 87% of eevee are male. You add that to the fact that eevee's are rare in the games (if you can even catch one), and the chances of being able to get a sylveon become really slim. Like absurdly slim. That'd be a nightmare for me.

well they've been releasing new eeveelutions every even numbered gen so it would have to be gen 8 at this pace =P

Yeah that's one of the many holes in my theory, I imagine if game freak did make them gender coded, they would make them easier to obtain in some way. Another hole is every new eeveelution has evolved through a new mechanic, the umbreon and espeon with day and night, and glaceon and leafeon evolved in specific areas (wasn't used besides with magnezone and probopass but still).
