gaming Questria: Princess Destiny - an MLP-based game?

So, I stumbled on a project like this...

A new game, that has quite a resemblance to a certain TV-show we all love...

What do you think of it?

Questria: Princess Destiny seems to be a MLP:FiM look-a-like, that dodges lawsuits pretty nicely.

NOTE: I am NOT trying to promote this campaign. These are now the only links I've found that have information about it.

My sides are in orbit. This is so FiM-based it's funny. I still think they might get sued over it, for using MLP's likeness or something of that nature. I'll probably try the game when it comes out.

There's a possibility that they will get sued, and a possiblity that they won't. It pretty much depends how it's seen by Hasbro - is it taking away their profits (in other words, are they keeping a door open for games, which might be pretty expectable, since a toy company might keep an option like this open, even tho won't probably do it) and do they see enough resemblance.

Since it's usually the jury's opinion that matters, is it copied or not ( in a matter like this. I'm not 100%, but this is how I believe it is? )

Wow this really is quite similar to MLP in names and the such.

However it doesn't really look that interesting to me, as it just kinda takes the names from mlp and stuff, but then it doesn't have ponies in it, and it doesn't have the same characters either.

So many similar names though.. Its weird, i don't get the reason, but oh well.

I don't think i'll be getting it, since its not really an MLP type game, more then one that seems to take alot of things from MLP, but its still pretty interesting how many similarities there are.

I have a feeling hasbro might sue them. They're just so closely related on the names and stuff that its almost obvious, not to mention color schemes.

Idk, regardless I don't really think the game is terribly interesting looking to me. Only interesting part is seeing all the copied things from MLP.

Idk maybe I'm just being harsh.

Wow... It seems to be pretty dang cheesy and cheapa$$. But yet again, that's what they do with most movie and TV show-based games. They just make a cheesy version that isn't even close to the same.

The big question is has Gameloft seen this yet? They're the current holders of the MLP video-game license, and Hasbro will be forced to do something if Gameloft complains. That's what's happened before with previous MLP video-games attempts. As soon as the video-game gets notoriety for one reason or another, Gameloft finds out about it and kicks up a stink.
