What is the worse album art you have ever seen? Please attach a picture and your reason. Mine are:

 

• Cannibal Corpse- Gore Obsessed

This album cover feels lazily done and compared to Tomb of the Mutilated and Butched at Birth, it's quite evident

 

• Cannibal Corpse- Evisceration Plague

Same deal with Gore Obsessed, plus it's creepy as hell, and not in a good way

 

• Morbid Angel- Domination

Not only is this album mirrored, they use the most revolting colors ever concieved

 

• Dying Fetus- Killing on Adrenaline

I'm not sure what's happening here

 

• Dying Fetus- Destroy the Opposition

This is too clustered to be coherent

 

• Deicide- In Torment In Hell

Lazy, colorless, and clustered

 

• Vortex- Colours out from the Emptiness

What the hell is even happening in this?

 

I'll post more soon. This is just an idea I've had for quite some time now.

Kevin Rowlands "My Beauty" is infamous for having perhaps the most disturbing album art of all time.

Mrs Mills wins the award with this atrocious album art. Just look at her face expression, she looks like Derpy on acid

Also, there was this shitty cover for a german folk album that we had to listen to in school (I have german classes), and I'll make sure to post it when I remember the name of the album

Voiovod's Target Earth is pretty God-awful. It looks like it was made in made in Microsoft Paint with the most atrocious colors and font

that they could possibly find.

 

How the hell am I supposed to tell that that says "Voivod" up there?

 

As Soundgarden said, My Beauty by Kevin Rowland is pretty weird, too.

• Death- Symbolic

This album is just too clustered

 

• Slayer- Hell Awaits

This is just a really confusing art style

 

• Vital Remains- Dechristianize

Way too much red for this. I can't even tell what's going on without squinting my eyes. Also, a lot of these albums have a problem with cluster. There is just too much stuff on the cover to make sense of anything

 

• Wayd- Decadance

What is with that weird orange blob on the right? Even without it, I don't think it would make sense

Speaking of Kanye West, although I loved his 2010 album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, the album art of it was rather... distasteful?

Some more albums

 

• Necrophagist- Onset of Putrefaction

No matter how many times I stared at it, I can't make heads or tails on what it's supposed to be. I think it migt be a mummy of some sort, but there is a growth out of its head. And the there's the weird thing on the right...idk

 

• Necrophagist- Epitaph

Not as bad as Onset, but still very jumbled and a ugly color palate

 

• Begging for Incest- Orgasmic Selfmutilation

I am very confused by this album. It looks like they are cutting themselfs, but the have what looks like long black and red things out of their hands. So what, are they wolverine now? They could make it a little more coherent. Also, I don't like the sky and the statues don't fit the context

 

• Son of Aurelius- The Farthest Reaches

This album is really clustered, ugly colors, and horrid facial expressions.

Also, how could I possibly forget Party Warfare!!! by Lofficamcore and Odaxelagnia? It's probably the hilariously worst album art of all time

 

 

I don't really need to say much more, but keep in mind that Loffciamcore isn't a very serious musician. Nobody that makes songs with titles such as "Lady Gaga Makes Dance on my Dick" or "I Wanna Feel Your Loli Body" can be considered a serious musician.

 

Oxadelagnia isn't very serious either, but not as ridiculous as Loffciamcore

I am sorry to say this but Green day's new albums art cover sucks and the albums themselves are meh.... I mean look at that it looks like vomit

As much as I love the band, my vote for worst cover art goes to The Cure's self-entitled album.  I'm sure they did that on purpose to make it look cute, but...eh.  It looks like it was made by one of their children, though I'm not surprised if it was.
