New Enemy Pony

So I was thinking that this season, instead of having a magical enemy like they usually do, they introduce a new pony enemy. Kind of like Trixie, but more dangerous and serious. People might argue that Nightmare Moon and Sunshine Shimmer. But Nightmare was a version of Luna and not an actual enemy, and Sunshine Shimmer was a demon-like creature and wasn't apart of the actual show.

That could work. I would think that there could be a serious antagonist that’s a pony. Or even a group of ponies perhaps. I am not sure what could make for a good conflict though I'm sure that something interesting could be thought of.

Yeah,  I think it would be interesting to show some sort antagonist pony.  Maybe the whole "elements of Disharmony" thing that everyone started talking about when the spoiler image of Trixie was released, with a bunch of minor villains that gained power through the anti-elements.

I think the new villain could be a pony who was ex-communicated from Ponyville but, started to learn new abilities after her long exile from Ponyville because of her threats against Celestia. Something new like a breath of fresh air. Could be an extremist who is against governments and overthrows them. Like someone who is like Anarky from the Batman comics.

What about a return of the Shadowbolts as an enemy?Maybe they kidnap the Wonderbolts or something, and Rainbow Dash and the other mane 6 have to save them somehow.

 

In the episode they were in, they weren't an "enemy" perse...more of a distraction.

I wanted the villain to hit home with the mane cast, so much so that the decision wouldn't be so easy. On deviantART I discussed an idea with a fan fiction writer that's quite popular, and told him (or her) that if.they wanted a real challenge, add a twist. What if the reason we never saw Scoot a Loo's parents were because they were evil? I mean, evil. Not towards their daughter, but enough so to wonder if whatever happened with NNM came to them.

I like the idea of a royal unicorn (NOT an alicorn) from an ancient bloodline making a claim to the throne and trying to usurp Celestia and Luna. We learn more about the royal sisters, and when the interloper turns out to be evil the M6 have to find a way to oust him.

I think it would be cool if it was an earth pony--one who's learned to tap into "Deep Magic" the way Pinkie Pie does, but uses it for more nefarious ends.  And maybe not quite a cackling villain either.  Perhaps a revolutionary fighting on behalf of earth ponies and/or non-ponies (sheep, cows, etc.), who would Have A Point a lot of the time, but perhaps take it to extremes.  Or for another angle, a somewhat Mare Do Well-like figure who wants to be Equestria's hero instead of the Mane 6.  She could be a competitor with Twilight in brains, threaten Dashie's ego in the "awesomeness" department by doing Pinkie-like things, but with a more Zorro-style flourish.  Pinkie could be disoriented by the idea of someone else who can do what she does (like it, hate it, maybe some of both), and Fluttershy and/or Applejack would ground the team with their less competitive/more down-to-Earth natures.

I'd be ok with it I guess, I know it'll happen I bet, in a show about ponies an antagonist who is a pony is pretty high chances for appearing in the show.

I like the idea of a new enemy pony, and I'd also like it if they weren't ever redeemed. That makes a much better story, and I'd bet the all of the fans would like it, too!
