If Discord had been in it, even if he had even made a small appearance like Trixie did I think he deserved to be in the movie. Not sure where they could place him, but I wish they would have stuffed him somewhere! He's as strong (high up) as Celestia, so it could work. Gigapony 650 July 15, 2013 Share July 15, 2013 That would've been awesome to see, though unless he's in a very tiny cameo role it risks pushing the movie too far out of its focus and makes it seem less like a story and too much like just a gallery of "How many characters can we homage in this?" If the movie had been longer, I'd say it'd be welcomed, but I think it was fine to not derail the story too much with a bunch of side/cameo characters. Plus I imagine that it'd be a hassle to get DeLancie in for just one or two lines. Man, I know it won't happen, but if I had my way, there'd be a "director's cut" version of the film with a whole bunch more cameo scenes and fanwank moments that I could squee over! Probably simply because they didn't have the time to incorporate him and make it also relevant enough to the story. Too much trouble than it's worth. yeah i see what you mean luna's and celestia's sucked but i loved all the mane 6 and all the other designs but you got to understand a good group of Bronies liked them to just seeing discord and hearing him talk would make people happy maybe mock celestia a bit. We don't need no spin-off bs. Then there wouldn't be season 4! Just because a series has a spin off does not mean they have to stop the current one. Also what's so bad about a spin off, all it means is that we could get a version of the show that caters to us. I also did not mean that they should make a spin off, I meant, that's what the movie felt like it should have been. It would have made more since and would have gave growth to those characters. Canon or not, what are the human version of her friends, suppose to do, just up forget someone that reunited their friendship, hold someone that broke their friendship in the first place as well as tried to enslave them as a replacement to the new friend they made that reunited them and saved them.
