I actually never played Assassin champions as an assassin, but as a fighter.. so it depends on your play style. ;~; 

I normally do that, unless im playing with a friend... then I literally just run around skill shooting and stealing all of his kills >.>

Unless your katarina, then i just steal all his kills anyways

Speaking of weird runs, I legit just build up kayle with Attack speed and thats it, its hella annoying to the enemies and hecka fun to derp around with XD

I haven't played enough Yasuo to really see how I feel about him, but he is one I wouldn't mind attempting to get decent with. He also comes off as more of a fighter than assassin to me.

 

Zed is another one I've thought about learning, but still haven't had the real care to do so.

 

Talon? Not a care in the world.

 

Akali? Seems a bit boring, though I did have an ok time the few times Ive had to play her in ARAM.

 

LeBlanc? The only one I really enjoy playing as much as I hate to say it.

 

Kha'zix was also another one I generally had fun playing, but I've pretty much stopped playing him.

Fizz is entertaining, but leaves a bit to desire cause its like, if you're half competent, you can manage well with him.

Literally fuck Ekko lmao. I don't even want to learn him right about now with his stupidity.

Rengar.....I have no fucking clue on him lmao. This is how I generally feel on most of these champs.

Kat, Kassadin, Ahri, and Nidalee are all entertaining, but I don't really give them the time of day to care otherwise until I just have a specific want to be silly. Nidalee more so cause its always funny to snipe people with spears. x)

This is also not really going into the secondary assassins, but since they're first and foremost way of play isn't to just single out someone per se. One's like Trist or Vayne, I don't even consider as such even though they have (or had) the ways to do it (RIP AP Tristana. ;~; ).

I play noc and quinn as full assassin and it's just so fun to play

It's funny you mentioned the one match up that I remembered quite well and played only once in my life (I generally don't play Fiora).

 

Of course, I assume things have changed a lot ever since Teemo/Fiora reworks, but I've played this matchup with Fiora back in the day before the rework. Back then, Teemo didn't really pose a threat to her. The old riposte/parry returned magic dmg on enemy hit, so I just played passively early, allowing him to get a few CS, and at lvl3 I started CSing without a care in the world on my own. Each time he attempted a poke, I just launched the parry in his projectile midflight and reflected the dmg back at him.

 

He simply had no way of poking me without getting himself hurt in the process, and once he was like half health, I engaged to scare him off. Ever since that moment, my CSing was easy.

 

You should have seen him raging how "retarded" this tactic was. o.o

You can't "main" all champions. You can at most play and learn them, tho that's very important too, as it allows you to at least become faintly acquainted with their dmg output, skill setup, mechanics and, most importantly, cooldowns. Knowing enemy cooldowns ALONE in EUNE will get you to at least Gold easily, assuming you won't run around suiciding yourself for no reason~

 

I'm not usually the one to flock to Pros opinions like a mindless sheep, but there's one thing I've heard from one of them once and couldn't disagree: It takes a thousand games at least to learn a Champion in at least a decent level. That is because you need to face dozens, hundreds of different matchups, matchups that are irregular, you need to figure out the champs DMG to be able to make correct calls on wether you need just one more autoattack/skill to kill the enemy and you can back off before you die yourself, or you should run NOW. (or even to decide if your, for example, Ace in the Hole from Caitlyn will kill the enemy who's at the treshhold of survival, or he'll run away with 2-8 HP)

Playing a max of 3 champs in every role allows you to easily familiarize yourself with their kit. This way you don't have worry about how exactly your kit will work in a matchup considering your opponent/jungler/possible gankers combined skills. You already know how your kit works perfectly fine, with all the ins and outs of it. All you have to do is to focus on using it in most efficient way considering your enemies' skills.

 

I mean, I also can play whatever my team needs. But it's the team's choice: You can either get a fantastic support/decent ADC, or an overly attached to lane decent MID (I have troubles calling when to gank), safe-playing TOP (I know too little about top matchups to be able to win them) or a terrible Jungler (no knowledge about jungle routes for various champions [in fact, this one needs work from my side, as it would allow me to anticipate ganks on ANY lane much more easily...], the gank calling issue mentioned before, indeceisive objective calling like Dragon/Baron).

Anyone can play any role, but doing it efficiently and maining them is something completely different.

I agree but I don't let my team chose for me what I can play I play what I want to play but I always play the last post.

I can see how Ekko could be difficult, but I've mastered some "difficult" champions in a few games. Jayce? Second game I did really well, and got a triple kill to show for it. Lucian? He wasn't that difficult really, but awkward to play, yes. After I figured out how to line up his ult and Q I started wrecking. Ezreal? Sure he's a little underpowered at the moment, (pre-buff he was actually difficult to carry with by most any standard), but he can be effective in the correct hands. Are mine those? If you look at my Ez record, I have a serious CS problem, but I do still generally carry.
