I would say that my personal favorite is How I Met Your Mother. Namely, for Barney Stinson.

So, as the question asks, what is your favorite sitcom?

I don't watch many sitcoms much anymore, but some I loved were Boy Meets World, Seinfeld Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Kenan & Kel, and Drake & Josh(which was basically Kenan and Kel with white people)

You know, "the usual"

That's an easy choice for me... Frasier.

It is even more hilarious if you, like I do, know one or two things about psychology itself. I like everything. The characters, the jokes. Genius.

Father Ted, Fawlty Towers, The Young Ones, Blackadder, Black Books..
But my crown goes to Spaced, it's just so damn geeky and so damn funny.

Have a nice cold pint, and wait for all this to blow over..

The Wayans Bros.

Martin

Who's The Boss?

ALF

Smart Guy

Drake & Josh

Aaaand that's pretty much it. I'm not really into newer sitcoms, like those dreadful Disney shows.

I'm a huge fan of Big Bang Theory.  I also really like Drake and Josh, How I Met Your Mother, and Fresh Prince of Belair.  Time to time I find myself watching Full House and Family Matters whenever I catch it on some channel.

Hm... too be honest, I really loved Two And A Half Men, and I still do. :I

Other than that, I love That 70's Show, and two others on here that everyone else seems to like which is Drake & Josh, and The Big Bang Theory. c;

Yeah, Dylan Moran is great :P

But Bill Bailey (the other guy in Black Books) is an amazing stand-up as well, but they're both hilarious in Black Books also :D

The Big Bang Theory. c;

People who like Big Bang Theory are:

A) People who have never really paid attention to Big Bang Theory.

B) Mean-spirited jerks who don't know funny.

What exactly is at all likable about the constant repeated "joke" of "HAHAHA, LOOK AT THE DIFFERENT PEOPLE, ISN'T IT HILARIOUS WHEN THEY SAY SMART THINGS?! LOL, NERDS!"...It's like if Milhouse was the main character of The Simpsons. It's not funny, it's just cruel and boring.

Favorite sitcom...Probably Boy Meets World. Possibly to be replaced or made to share a spot with its upcoming sequel series. Fresh Prince is great too.

Not hypocritical at all, lol. Besides, most of the jokes in that show aren't insulting to nerds in the slightest.

But my favorite sitcom is probably Two and a Half Men (in its prime, not the new seasons) or South Park (maybe not a sitcom).

The entirety of the joke (yes, there's only one joke, even if they stretch it over a whole series) is "Haha, look at the nerds be nerdy!"

New Two and a Half Men is awful...New South Park is still good.

Speaking of new, new Whose Line is still great. Not a sitcom though.

I'm not going to argue with you but I know for a fact that the main characters are portrayed more sympathetically than non-nerd characters. Plus there are way more sex jokes than nerd jokes.

How I Met Your Mother is probably my favorite currently on TV. The plot is clever, and I really enjoy the humor. I'm excited about the final season, though I'm a little sad that it's about to end. I put too many years of my life into that show for it to disappear after next year. =P

Arrested Development is another sitcom that I adore. It's one of the most intelligent TV shows I've ever seen. The political commentary is fantastic, and the jokes are hilarious.

DFTBA.
