there's a lot of different video editing and audio production programs available. whatever you find the most suitable depends though.

myself, i've used FL Studio for music-related stuff basically all the time, and, even though the interface is a bit clunky, it's probably the most user-friendly thing for making songs in, IMO. also, if you've learned music the "classical" way, FL Studio might not be what you want to use, as there are other programs with a more "analogue" interface, with note sheets and all that jazz.

for video editing, i've used Adobe Premiere Pro, but it costs a lot and is very powerful and very clunky to use. i've heard that Sony Vegas is a bit easier to use, although it also costs money, to get the registered version, that is. i'd recommend Vegas, because it's not that resource-heavy and confusing to use.

that's all that i can think of, anyway.

everything is on the internet. EVERYTHING. Anyway, most people use After Effects, but Hitfilm and apple's Motion are similar. If you're using after effects or motion, you'd need an editing software  like premiere pro or final cut. If you want to animate, then flash is the way to go (although it's very hard to learn). For music, there are tons of options. FL studio seems to be popular, but there are many other options like ableton live, logic pro, pro tools, mixcraft, and many MANY more. Again, this is all found on the internet.

The most popular music creating software, at least, to my knowledge, falls onto

Ableton Live (Suite).

FL Studio.

Ableton Live comes in three options on the official website.

Ableton Intro. (Around 100 US Dollars.)

Ableton Live. (Around 450 US Dollars.)

Ableton Live Push. (Around 750 US Dollars.)

Ableton Intro: A trial of the Standard Ableton (limited features, 700+ sounds, only 3 instruments, and 26 effects.)

Ableton Live: Standard Ableton Live 9 (All of the features, 1100+ sounds, 3 instruments, and 37 effects.)

Ableton Live Push: Standard Ableton Live 9 with a Ableton Push device (All features, 3000+ sounds, 9 instruments, and 40 effects.)

FL Studio comes in three products.

FL Studio (Fruity Edition): 99 / 139 US Dollars.

FL Studio (Producers Edition): 199 / 299 US Dollars.

FL Studio (Signature Edition): 299 / 399 US Dollars.

I am not aware of the differences, however, I am aware that those are the three products.

As for video editing software, the most popular, and most frequently used, again, to my knowledge, are Sony Vegas Pro, and Adobe After Effects.
_____________________________________

Sony Vegas Pro is the only product, to my knowledge.

Sony Vegas PRO: Clocks in at 439.95€ .
_____________________________________

Adobe After Effects is also the only product, to my knowledge.

Adobe After Effects CS6: Clocks in at 999.00 US Dollars as a

on Amazon, however they are having a sale, cutting it down to 592.00 US Dollars.

And as for downloading videos/music, I would recommend Freestudio.

Freestudio: Free Download.
