I've never had any issues with performance, unless i try to use those amazing shader mods...

 

Anyway, to answer the OP: Yes. Get it, get the PC version. Not just because we are the superior gaming master race (Joke.) but because... well...

Apperently everypony in my schools loved the Xbox edition. Once they were freaking out cause they got the end and this is me and a couple other people.

 

 

The PC is better because you get mods, texture packs, and muliplayer.

I keep reading that Minecraft actually performs better on Intergrated Graphics like Intel HD 3000/4000 which really annoys me cause I spent about 300 pounds on my graphics card and am purchasing an upgraded card this year that is about 580 pounds. I used to love Minecraft back when I owned an Alienware M11x R3 but ever since switching to a full tower, it just runs awful, even with optifine D:

Interesting... I didn't know that. But of course it also runs fine on my PC (the one available to me rather) which was nearly high end six years ago and has not been upgraded since (except for hard drive). But I'm not an expert yet

Don't get Pocket Edition. It really sucks and it's confusing for me. Get PC version; it's more efficient and you can go on servers.

PC version for the win and did you know theres mod packs so that you dont need to install mods? Also i would list a few of the mods i like here in a list... Somewhere down there...

Minecraft is better on p.c but Xbox is good to cause it has tutorial I don't know if p.c has it if it does I didn't know really get. p.c version you can use mods

The game is a mixed bad of opinions. Because there is no actual objective to the game. You make your own objectives, and you're given no help whatsoever.

You're just dropped into an infinate world, no materials, no help. The sun is midway in the sky. If you have no idea what you're doing you just look up a guide and play from that.

But the recipies aren't that hard. They're commin sense. You got wood, it's the only thing you can use, so craft something... Etc etc.

But if you do get it, get it on PC. It updates quicker there is much more content. The world is much larger (the average minecraft world is 8X the size earth.) and the masses of mods, texture packs, and maps gives you plenty to do. Theres a mod, computer craft, which allows you to code touchscreen computers and other devices in minecraft. In fact, when you get it, just look up feed the beast. You'd be suprised.

Do it. F***ing. DO IT. You'll be glad you did. It's a bit complicated at first, but then it gets easy. I actually got a mod called Mo' Creatures. And you can tame a buttload of animals. So...I made an animal farm. P.S. My skin is Gumi from Vocaloid. X3

Microsoft is trying their hardest to make Xbox Live the most painful thing on this planet, so I recommend the PC version to anyone that's interested.
