Twilight becoming a damsel in distress?

Okay so for some reason Meghan won't bring Flash Sentry back to Season 4(Not that she hasn't lied before  -_- ) . But what if He returned in Season 5? 

For some reason I can't Imagine an episode about him or him being in a finale/Premiere Without Twilight being a damsel in distress. I just don't. Perhabs I don't have Enough Imagination.

Well atleast I can hope he never shows up in the show

First off: I'm one of those who also don't want to see him again.

 

I can understand that some do, but I simply don't.

 

And like you said, maybe he comes back in a potential season five.

 

But I don't think that they'd make her a damsel in distress. That would be against everything she went through and would be contradictory to the image of princesses in the show, I guess. The princesses are strong leaders, not helpless "little princesses". That doesn't mean that he couldn't be the "hero" and save her, but everytime she was in trouble it was never like in some cliched movie. If It would ever happen, it would be in an adequate situation, I think.

Not a scene where she screams "Help me, Flash Sentry!" and is totally helpless. That would disappoint me.

Seeing as I don't think Twilight could ever be a damsel in distress anyway I highly dought that if Flash Sentry were to make a return it would be just so he could be a hero. Twilight might need help, but never would she be so powerless as to need a rescue, by her friends maybe but certainly not by some lone stallion.

Even if Twilight were to get into a situation where she needs rescuing I highly doubt she will become the stereotypical "damsel in distress" as even if Flash was involved in any rescue the other mane 6 would most likely be with him. In the episode A Dog And Pony Show it seemed like Rarity would become this and she is probably the most likely mane 6 character aside from Fluttershy to become one, but by time her friends came to rescue her she already outsmarted the diamond dogs by annoying them into submission. I could easily see Twilight doing the same thing albeit in a different way, Twilight unlike Rarity dosen't have the diva part down but has plenty of other tricks up her sleeves to get her out of some sticky situations.

Maybe in the human world this could happen, but in Equestria, Females are obviously dominant so the odds of HER of all ponies becoming a damsel in distress are relatively low. Besides, she is really skilled in magic so she could figure out something I would assume.
