windy_prance 114 February 17, 2012 Share February 17, 2012 Teens React should have shown those teens Equestria Girls. That would have been a much better representation of MLP fan community!!

Eenohay 318 February 17, 2012 Share February 17, 2012 The screaming pony thing will just add fuel to the anti-bronie fire. Am I the only one who sees this? People who don't watch the show will watch this and say: "Look, Bronies are all loud mouth asses. They all scream and carry on like that over a cartoon." It makes the whole fandom look stupid to have the screamed comments. Without them, this would be a very good documentary that could convince people to watch the show. With them, people will just laugh at the dopey bronies. I actually saw about ten seconds of Yaplap screaming the FIM theme song. He sounded like an ass, and there were all kinds of nasty comments about how crazy all bornies are. The guy does a great job furthering people's beliefs that there is something wrong with bronies. All I can say is, I'm glad I'm not a guy. I'm insulated from it! You are right I think, and I also think I'm not the only one who thinks you are right. The screams where really anoying, and a lot of poeple are put off by those. I mean, if for example, I show this to my mom, she would think we are idiots, despite what the guys actually said. I know we arent, but not everyone who watches the video will, especially non bronies.

The screams where really anoying, and a lot of poeple are put off by those. I mean, if for example, I show this to my mom, she would think we are idiots, despite what the guys actually said. I know we arent, but not everyone who watches the video will, especially non bronies. Exactly! What people will remember is just the screaming nonsense. It'll just be seen as another "Look at the weird-ass bronies!" video. If the screaming comments were removed, it may actually lead a few people into being curious enough to take a look at an episode or two. With them, people will just laugh at it, and keep insisting only weird people would watch a little girl's show. They'll actually cite the screamed incoherent comments as proof of their arguments. Like I said, the video defeats the whole reason for it's existence with that stupid screaming. The screaming changed what should have been a good thing, into an actual embarrassment to the fandom! DJ MUFF1N D3RP 322 February 17, 2012 Share February 17, 2012 Yeah, I guess I see where you guys are coming from. Where we(the bronies) would find Yaplap's(the screamer) comments in the video funny because we understand his jokes and have seen his videos, it didn't really fit in with the context of the video. The video still does its job, but I get the feeling, like cutecindy said, they most non-bronies would single out Yaplap's yelling segments and use those standards on the rest of us. It's party time, ponies! Let's do this Pinkie Pie Style! http://www.youtube.c...35EA5C5072F46D5
Key Gear 6,663 February 17, 2012 Share February 17, 2012 With them, people will just laugh at it, and keep insisting only weird people would watch a little girl's show. They'll actually cite the screamed incoherent comments as proof of their arguments. Like I said, the video defeats the whole reason for it's existence with that stupid screaming. The screaming changed what should have been a good thing, into an actual embarrassment to the fandom! I joined this board just to say that I completely agree with you as well, and I am glad that I'm not the only person out there that thinks this. I have a pretty offbeat sense of humor, so I actually found the crazy screaming pony to be ridiculously funny. With that said, I think that the video would have been a better (well, a more positive) representation of the fandom if Yaplap had been left out or maybe if another version had been made that included him. I think that the main problem with the screaming pony is that this "reaction to a reaction" will probably be watched by a lot of people who were originally neutral to the brony community (the original reaction had over a million views). While critics will always be critics, if someone is neutral then there may have been a chance to win them over. Instead, the likelihood of winning over some new members will decrease when Yaplap starts screaming. Speaking just for myself, I showed the video to some of the people that I know that watch the show, but I was very careful to avoid presenting it to people that I know were on the fence - for the reasons that I mentioned above. Of course, on the other hand, it could also be argued that including Yaplap in the video makes for a more "accurate" representation of the fandom. There are some fairly weird elements of the fandom, and it would, perhaps, be "false advertising" to pretend as though this was not the case. ~asdf~ 110 February 17, 2012 Share February 17, 2012 "SORRY KIDS. IT'S PONY TIME!" I thought he was knd of funny personally. And I know a lot of ponies who would find him hilarious even though they are fence sitters. But still, I think the funniest part was the asian kid saying we shouldn't be allowed to be called men, and the Dusty reacted. I knew it was going to be good. Champion RD92 8,658 February 17, 2012 Share February 17, 2012 I just realized that being a Brony probably isn't gonna give me a better chance with girls, considering what all the girls said... Like when they were asked if they would date a Brony they were like "HELL NO!!!" Also, I really wanted to punch those stupid douchebags in the face... The amount of ignorance and stupidity and immaturity astounded me. When that one kid said "If I was a Brony, I'd only do it for macaroni" I just laughed my ass off!! Is that kid retarded??? That doesn't even make sense!!!

~asdf~ 110 February 18, 2012 Share February 18, 2012 Yeah, but what are the odds of a girl being a Pegasister? More than you think. There are several pegasisters on this website as it is. Shank and Arylett are pegasisters.... But they already have lucky boys for them. In the end those kids and the video producers were ignorant to the women of the fandom. And I for one find that rediculous.

Yeah, but my point is that most girls would find it strange if you told them you watch MLP because the average girl is not a pegasister and has probably never heard of bronies. Kodiak 431 February 18, 2012 Share February 18, 2012 I think this was a good thing for us. It adds a bit of clarification on what this fandom's actually about, yet gives off a sense of humor that shows how we don't let people (or trolls) get to us. Twi Rubix 726 February 18, 2012 Share February 18, 2012 I didn't really expect this video to be shown, but it did! I had some complaints about those kids myself. Arashi Takamine 123 February 18, 2012 Share February 18, 2012 I was so disappointed in that video that I couldn't get WHY the FineBro's tried the excuse of 'there wasn't enough time for more then the opening' well they could have used the time they had instead of using the opening and macro's to show like even Equestria Girls or Celestia Forbid Cupcakes. I love the bronies react vid. I laughed so hard at some points and the guy who said the thing with brony girls and brony boys is right...I'm a brony girl and if I start dating this year I wanna find another brony to call my BF. It would be fun. Found at Hagaren.org Proud Pega-sis/Brony and writer!

I know 8 pegasisters (in real life) who gladly supported duct taping me to a chair to watch MLP. And I'm glad they did! Sadly enough, it is true 7 of these awesome people have boyfriends already. That doesn't even make sense!!! See it like this, most of their friends are probably watching that "show" and they are most likely just lying about some things so they wont lose their "popularity" or something. Who cares if your BF/GF watches a kids show? It has always been and shall always be the inside that counts. I'm sure that 80% of them started to watch MLP that very night.
