As the E.R.W 4-4-0 pulled into the station, Rut-Light brought the train to a complete halt with the cars right next to the station platform so the workers could load all the mail and packages.  Rut-Light looked out the cab and over to the platform, to his surprise there was at least 400 parcels; 100 for each of the 4 cars.  "Oh sweet Celestia this is going to take a while."  This train was easily under powered for this much packaging, but that doesn't mean he can't try...but as a wise man once said: 'Do or do not, there is no try.',  which Rut-Light agreed with, but in this situation he had to try.  

 

'This load is going to weigh at least 100-300 pounds depending on whats in these god forsaken packages.  I just need to have faith.'  After about 25 minutes the workers were done with loading the parcels when the station master blew his whistle, Rut-Light was clear to go.  "Alright old girl," he whispered "Lets do this and bring home the mail, surprise us all."  Rut-Light had been building steam back up from the start, he closed the cylinder cocks, brought the Regulator all the way towards him then he turned on the sander so the locomotive could grip the rails better.  "Lets move."  As he turned the Reverser to 100% and released the brakes; the train lurched forward for a split second and then the terrible noise of metal scraping against metal was heard, Rut-Light grunted and with encouragement in his voice said, "Come on, come on!  I know you can do this!" But it was heard for no more than 2 seconds until the loco moved forward, then the wheels slipped and tugged until finally the train got a firm grip on the track and it slowly but surely moved on its way back to Baltimare station.  "Yes...YES!  THAT'S MY GIRL!"  Rut-Light listened for a moment and could actually hear the ponies back at the station cheering like it was a celebration, in return Rut-Light gave the whistle 2 long tugs and smiled with pride.  The pistons where pumping their hardest and the boiler bubbled like mad as the train was just getting to a decent speed, no thanks to the heavy load.  Rut-Light was still smiling with joy as he said, "Next stop; Baltimare."  He gave the whistle 2 more tugs and then continued along the railway tracks.

It was more difficult finding a shop that would suit his needs than Ember expected from a large city like Baltimare.  He was speaking under his breath, mentally going over his inventory.  I should have asked what colors she liked before running off...  I'm running low on some, but I have plenty of others...  Eventually he found what he needed though, and started trying to find some kind of inn.  He still needed a quiet place to work after all, and with something as messy (and potentially explosive) as his work, it was something they didn't normally approve of working on in a public library...

Skycoaster

Skycoaster was draging himself back to his hotel, having to cross through the park. He was walking slow, taking time not to aggravate his rib injury. As he walked deeper into the park, he heard music. Since it was near the path he had to take, he decided to check it out. He slowly trotted up to hear the music that the yellow pegasus was playing, but by the time he got there, it had stopped and Thunder was talking with two other ponies. He saw the bag just disappear.

 

"WOW!" he said out-loud, standing behind Bubble and Pondah. He didn't mean to sneek up on them, however he was intrigued by the electric magic.

 

"That was amazing. I'm...I'm sorry to intrude, but have I seen you around Cloudsdale before? I'm Skycoaster. Nice to meet everypony."

Starshine was initially very interested in the yellow pegasus' electric ability, but soon grew bored as the stallion explain the origin of his power. "Struck by a thunder, wow," he snickered. There were a lot of trickster around Equestria with more plausible 'origin of power,' and he had followed enough of them to see that most of them were nothing but talented unicorns in disguise. The handful few that were truly powerful were unable to fully explain their gifts, and even less likely to share. "Hah... He's a pegasus, there's a chance that there was a mutation in his hooves," he mused.

 

The colt saw Skycoaster approached the group, seemingly a bit interested in the yellow stalilon's ability. Starshine took this as a cue to leave this place. Can't have the stallion took away the rest of the medallion. He jumped off the tree and trotted away from the scene using nearby shrubberies as a cover. "Time to pawn these medals of whatever."

Sunny blushed deeper as Candy started massaging her back. It wasn't bad or too intimate; she just wasn't used to it. She wasn't even used to having a marefriend.

"I don't mind relaxing," she said, turning her head to face the beige mare.

"You know, sometime, i want to do a drawing or painting of you," she smiled. "Maybe sometime today or tomorrow?"

Slightly irritated by the way another pony had completely barged into his conversation, Pondah took a few relaxing, deep breaths to stop himself from snapping at the new pegasus. "It's nice to meet you as well, Skycoaster." Pondah said with a mildly forced smile. "I'm Pondah. You won't have seen me around before."

"You know, sometime, i want to do a drawing or painting of you," she smiled. "Maybe sometime today or tomorrow?"

 

 

"Awwh..." She reached a hoof around and turned Sunny's face toward her. "Whenever you want...but I'd be okay with today...I mean we're already here." Candy put on an alluring smile, and kissed Sunny. Upon releasing the kiss, she finished the massage, and stretched out across the bed, still wearing the alluring smile. "So...paint me like one of your Fancy mares." She winked.

Sunny moved a hoof to her mouth to stifle a giggle at Candy's last sentence, but it was useless as the giggle escaped into a laugh. She let herself laugh for a few minutes, before facing Candy again.

"Can't say I've ever even painted a Fancy mare before," she snickered.

"But I'll try to do them justice anyway," she teased, grinning to let Candy know as much, and quickly grabbed a few paint supplies. Once she was ready, she looked at Candy and laughed again.

"So, is that the pose you've decided on?"

Candy giggled, "Nah, I can do much sexier than that!" She chuckled. She posed in a way in which she thought she would look most attractive. "Paint away, Sunshine." Her smile grew larger, and she fluttered her eyes. It felt strange to her: being this okay with displaying herself for another pony. Her marefreind would soon put an image of Candy on paper, an image that would be entirely what Sunny saw.

Bubble blinked as she realized that she was being spoken to. 

 

"I'd love to! It sounds fancy there, we can go, cant we Pondah? It'll be fun!" The mare exclaimed. "Oh! I never gave you my name! I'm Bubble!"

 

Today just kept getting better and better! Admittedly, Bubble didn't quite understand how a city was going to pay for dinner, but the pegasus seemed to know what he was talking about and he clearly knew more about Cloudsdale than she did.

"I could easily heal that up right here, right now." Thunder Dash stated. "And dinner at the Grand Mareland hotel sounds amazing. Nothing like fine cuisine on a nice evening in the luxurious city of Baltimare." Thunder Dash stated. "Anyway, want me to heal you up?" Thunder Dash asked Sky.

Pondah nodded his head softly. "Of course we can go." ​Pondah said. "You are free to do what you please around me. I will rarely restrain you. You can make your own decisions for you are a mare, not a filly." ​

 

​When Pondah heard again that he was having something bought for him, he began to think. 'Great, now I ow Bubble the value of a sandwich and a lick of iced-sugar and now I owe this guy the value of whatever I eat at this hotel. I'll have to sell my body parts to pay off my debts if I get anything else given to me.'

"As for the whole dinner thing, I'm on a Working Vacation. Cloudsdale made me come here to try to get your weather back in line, so they gave me an open tab at the hotel and told me to enjoy myself why I was here. So far I've had some...issues in Baltimare, but this shouldn't be two much more of a problem. Can I ask you guys an Important question? Why have is there only 3 pegasi on your weather team? A city this big should have at least 20. Ponyville alone has 15. Was this city founded by Earth ponies or Unicorns?"

"You can come to the big fancy dinner too, if you want." as Skycoaster was talking to a bush.

Skycoaster stood there, waiting for the electric magic to take effect. His heart pounding.

He looked back to his wrapped ribs, than back to Thunder Dash and closed his eyes. "Ok, Make it happen. I'm just a little leery about magic though...Just do it."

 

Skycoaster stood there, waiting for the electric magic to take effect. His heart pounding.

Thunder Dash came closer to Skycoaster and put his hoof on the injured site. He then gathered some electricity and let it slowly travel into Skycoaster's body. What the electricity was doing was relieving pain and reforming the missing particles of the injured rib. Thus, it fully healed Skycoaster of his injury. "There, feel better now?" Thunder Dash asked.

What the electricity was doing was relieving pain and reforming the missing particles of the injured rib. Thus, it fully healed Skycoaster of his injury. "There, feel better now?" Thunder Dash asked.

"I feel amazing! Not only do I think you fixed my ribs, but I have a lot more energy! I feel like doing a loop or two. Hold on a sec."

 

Skycoaster took off into the clouds to see what his Team had been doing. Once he gets there, he see's all three of them sitting on a cloud talking.

"Well, thanks for coming after me! The least you could do is warn me that there was a giant storm cloud I was flying into. And what is this! I'm gone for a few hours and there's more clouds than when I left! Take the rest of the day off and rest. Your going to need it for tomorrow!!!

 

Skycoaster flew back down to the group, Hoping that they didn't hear him yelling at the weather team, be new he could be heard.

Sunny laughed again. "When I said paint you, I meant paint like a portrait of you, but if you insist..." she ended jokingly, chuckling as she sat down at her easel and got to painting. Whenever she looked at Candy, she would chuckle, shaking her head slightly at how silly it seemed, and returned to painting.

After a while, she set the paintbrush down and giggled as she turned the easel with her magic to show Candy the picture. 

"Done," she chuckled.

Candy approached the easel, she was a little stiff from sitting still for so long. A long stretch later, she approached the easel close enough to see it. Her face went ablaze in scarlet, "It's...beautiful..." She was almost at loss for words, "I'm..." she stared at Sunny for a moment, "Is this really how you see me?" Her eyes welled up a little. She almost couldn't imagine she was on par with the beautiful painting.

Sunny stood up and stretched as well, and walked around so she was beside Candy.

"I'm glad you think it's beautiful." she said, leaning into her and nuzzling her neck.

"To answer your question, no," she continued, pretending to be bored, then gave the beige mare a sweet smile. "This painting doesn't even start to do you justice."

Candy beamed, ecstatic about what Sunny said, "Th-thank you..." her beaming continued, "I wish I could show the way I viewed you on paper, " She sniffed, "but I'm no artist." She laughed lightly. "Come on," She tackled them both onto the bed and hugged Sunny as tightly as she could without crushing her. "I can try words, though." She smiled, "Though I'm not sure I could put into words just how much you mean to me." She kissed Sunny on the cheek.
