Notes on This Painting: Who doesn't love our equalitarian, totalitarian leader? All hail Celestia! Rules: 1. If you change your name, and post again, please mention that you changed your name. No double entries. 2. Check in periodically to make sure your name actually ended up on the list. I would feel terrible if you missed out due to my incompetence. 3. You must POST to play. Not a brohoof in the world can save you! Just post, and I will get your name into the drawing. 4. The deadline will be set, please check in periodically for the drawing. 5. You can not be a 'blank flank' to win. Come on, it is a whopping 10 post, just participate a little and you can enter. 6. I have never had this problem, but if someone criticizes, don't flame. I am all up for criticism. If you honestly do not like my work, please do not enter, leave that spot open for someone else to win, and remember, this is all for fun. Update: August 7th, 2013 12:24 A.M. - Let's get this party started! FAQ: Q: Is this is a real canvas? A: Yes, this is a real canvas, four pieces of wood with stretched cloth. Q: Can I brohoof to win? A: No, you must post. Q: Do I need to pay shipping? A: I promise to take care of all cost, however, if you live outside the country, you are more than encouraged to help me with that. Remember, every penny I can put towards canvases, the more of these I can do. Q: That looks really bad! A: That is not exactly a question... However, when I start a painting, it rarely looks good. Also, my camera's flash eats through the coats of paint and really brings out the worst in it. Q: I see staff has entered your drawing, do they get preferential treatment? If I post sooner, does that increase my odds? If I post multiple times, does that increase my odds? A: Nope, nope, and nope. I literally take the names down, put them in a hat, and grab a piece of paper. It is totally unbiased. Q: Why are all of your give-aways 16"x12"? Why are they on canvas? A: I believe 16"x12" is the best size to display a small piece of art. I plan on buying up some 7"x7" canvases here soon when I get the bits, and doing a load of those to give away between the bigger paintings. That way more ponies can have more paintings! I use canvas because I really do poor my heart and soul into every painting, no matter how bad or good they look. Anything other than canvas does a poor job of preserving the painting. It is better to spend the money, and know I am giving out a superior piece of art. List of Entries: Wow! Another give away! I gotta enter on this one and pray I get one! Remember, I have been only at this since March (but you know that, you have been supporting me since the beginning). If you are interested, I keep getting messages about putting up a painting tutorial series. There are tons of better painters than I, already doing this, but if people really want to see somepony cover himself in paint while wrangling with a canvas. I could put something up. Well your paintings are still great. Period. As for the tutorial series, by the love of Celestia, Luna, Twilight, Cadance and all the other, possibly unannounced princesses of Equestria, DO IT No, but seriously, it sounds like a really nice idea.
