If the Princesses Turned Bad

If Luna is able to turn bad and be corrupted, why cant other Alicorns? with this being said what do you think would happen if Celestia, Cadence, or Twilight transformed like Luna did. what would they do? what would they look like? another weird question would be that since Luna was able to turn into Nightmare Moon on Nightmare Night, does that mean that all other princesses have a different, more powerful form they can transform into?

While I think it would be an amazing idea for Twilight to be corrupted by her new power (and possibly outside sources) and have to be "reformed", I don't think this will happen in the show.

 

Dealing with a mane character turing (not just bad, but) evil is something that has not been explored in FiM. Luna doesn't count because she wasn't really a mane character... We had not actually seen her yet during the NM episodes.

Well first of all Nightmare Moon is not a form exclusive to Luna. (You have Nightmare Rarity) It is rather an evil energy on the moon that simply chose to take advantage of Luna's state of jealously so it could take over her. I know this because I own the FiM comic books.

 

Really if any of them turned evil they wouldn't change form at-all. Now if they were corrupted by an external source like Nightmare energy or something else then they may change form. That is not certain however.

 

And yes this all sounds like a nice FanFic.

This would be how I imagine them if they some how get corrupted and turned evil. We actually See Princess Celestia using dark magic and that us a glimpse of what she would look like if she was really corrupted. 

Although I'm unsure what Princess Cadence would look like other than Chrysalis being disguised as her.

That´s pretty cool, and like there are some "Nightmare versions" of some of the main six it would be awesome to see the one of the other princesses... gone bad.

If I got it right the loneliness and anger managed to turn Princess Luna into Nightmare Moon, so i´m not sure how that would work in the show itself. But it would be a very interesting touch, like others said before they could be corrupted by influences like Dombras magic (idk, is he gone forever?)

What I want to see, personally, is Celestia turn bad somehow, because then that would present Twilight with a real challenge: Confront her mentor and free her from the dark side (which also has cookies) or risk seeing Equestria get run into the ground by the twisted mind of its former protector and governor. Luna wouldn't be able to contemplate it either; facing her sister who forgave her for her misdeeds as Nightmare Moon. In fact, I don't think anypony would be able to confront her willingly, let alone contemplate it. It's something that's very much unthinkable. Celestia cannot turn evil, for she is the princess and deity of the sun. She is protected by light magic of vast and immense power. However, if she were to turn, it would be a big blow to the Mane 6 and Equestria subsequently, but mostly Twilight, who held the most faith and trust in her. The question here is: what would be the next move? Who would strike first against Celestia? These are questions the cast of the show have not faced for the time being, and this is the important part. If Celly did turn evil, who would stop her?
