gaming Do you think treyarch should just make a cod zombies

To tell you the truth i kinda only get cod for the z's. so i think they should make a cod zombies with all the zombies map and maybe even make a map creator so console players get to experience the  custom zombies.

I don't see why they shouldn't. At this point, it seems like all people care about when it comes to the Call of Duty series is Zombie mode

Given that there are actually a lot of people like you, that buy the games for the zombies mode only, it would make sense for Treyarch to really please the fans with something like what you described, but Activision, there is no way they would allow it. If they made an all in one zombie game with the old maps and even a map creator, they would lose out on the chance of making over priced DLC. Meh, they would probably do it anyways. Activision's new price for COD games is basically $110 and this one, if they did make it, would be no different. 

 

The only other problem is that if it is successful, they would milk it for all it's worth.

I think they would be amazing if they just made a Zombie game. They would have to make it just like the Nazi Zombie game mode however or it wouldn't be as popular I do not think. Having all the maps would be good, but I think because they love profit, they would most likely try to sell them though DLC packs. Probably something along the lines of one for World at War, one for Black Ops, and one for Black Ops 2. Having the custom map builder would also be nice.

 

Still would be a great game however.

Am I the only person who actually prefers the multiplayer? Back in WaW and Black Ops zombies was way more fun, but I think Treyarch really outdid themselves with the multiplayer in Black Ops II. Should they make a standalone title? I would rather only have to spend $60 to get both than $120 (I'm assuming they would use exorbitant DLC prices for both).

Many would say yes, but for a standalone they will need to...make certain modifications so you aren't just playing the same thing over and over. They could do a lot though if they did just a standalone zombies game.

They should just make it already cause they are had at making the core game, i only play it cause i gotta lot of friends that play it. So many connection issues, not fixing spawns and balancing weapins that dont need to be balanced

I would absolutely love it if they did make a standalone Zombie game! It's the only part of CoD I still like and had a relatively good time with playing with my friends, without all the rage in between.

 

But as pessimistic as I'm about to sound, I doubt we'll see it coming anytime soon. Activision pretty much uses the Zombie maps to tie-in with the Multiplayer maps so that they can get away with overcharging for DLC (which is a dick move, but it's either you pay or you get nothing). It's only when that way of distributing their DLC becomes much less profitable that they'll take the stab at a Zombie-only game.

 

Another factor that could affect this is that Zombie maps are a LOT harder to make than Multiplayer maps. They have to be designed to a T essentially, and a lot of new assets tend to go into future Zombie maps to avoid maps from feeling the same, like new textures, guns, power-ups, or even new game mechanics. I'm pretty sure Activision are doing fine just releasing one map every few months.

 

But besides that, I do really hope people finally take a stand against Activision and speak with their money. It'll be difficult because, let's face it, most CoD players buy the next installment regardless of similarity. But you never know, they could end up flopping next-gen.
