It's scary at first. You've just got to figure out how a clutch. And clutches vary from car to car but you get used to it. Diesel engines are much easier to learn on. The low end torque keeps them from stalling as easily. Most diesel pickup trucks require no throttle if you're not towing something. :D

 

But it's a lot easier than you think. It just takes practice. :)

 

To be honest I can only see my self driving a petrol engine car. My first car is probably going to be a Volkswagen Golf :lol: But yeah, after a few lessons I'll probably get the hang of it... Although an automatic sounds easier Nah jks, I'm not lazy :P

My prelude actually has a semi manual mode and it stays in the gear you pick. I'll hold it at 40 miles an hour in second gear when I'm getting on the interstate and bury the throttle once it starts to straighten out. :D

I'm just scared to think where time has gone... Doesn't feel that long ago when I joined here and I was 15, now I'm nearly 18 and talking about driving :lol: Crazy...

I joined the forums when I was closer to being 13, but still 12 in terms of years. Wasn't aware of putting age until later, so I was able to get away. :derp:

Hahaha WOW :lol: :lol: I wasn't that bad.... I hope  :wacko:  :P I mean, yeah I made crappy PMV's at the time.... And was a massive fan boy... Actually wait, that doesn't help me xD 

I wish I'd made more of an impact on the forums back then. I didn't really have any one to talk to properly until about a year later lol, I was really shy.

 

I think I remember seeing you under the name "ThatOneBrony". It's weird that a lot of members from then are gone. Kinda weird to have watched members come and go like that.
