I would like to know how in the name of all that's holy that those numbers are even possible. I had a conversation with my WoW guild master a while ago (about 6 months or so now) and he was talking about how they were getting these new connections in the university down where he lives in Tampa that went at like 500 Mb/s. Is it like, pure fiber optic godliness? Is it even necessary to have that much ridiculousness? How much could that incredulity even cost?

 

 

I have the second fastest internet speed in the nation. The only place with faster is the Pentagon. :3

Not only does it have my location incorrect, but now I have the exclusive privilege to say that I have the worst internet in the country, barring none at all. I have to play games with this sometimes, mind you. It's excruciating.

It's alright. The home internet you have gives me some consolation.

 

What I have here is a Verizon wireless hotspot thingie. There are literally zero non-satellite options where I currently live, which is on a family farm that my dad insisted we moved to after he inherited the house after his parents died. Being 56, he doesn't much care for such nuances as the internet. He also doesn't believe in such things as email or putting our number in the phone book, because he believes that such things will result in identity theft, all while my mother and I have had our own email addresses for years, and we have not yet been robbed blind. There is also a set of train tracks in the way. There is literally high-speed internet (but it's Comcast) right across the tracks, not 200 yards away.

 

Back to the ISP. What you saw there was an example of "purple" internet. There are two lights on the hotspot thingie than can pop up - green and purple. Green is a semi-normal connection, but I still get crippling lag at times when playing LoL, and still disconnect from the launcher client from time to time, which can result in missed queues and invites, as well as general frustration.

 

My friends have learned to fear and respect when I say that "my internet is purple." They immediately stop bothering me and go about their merry business, as I'm sure you know why.

 

My internet is currently green. Let's run the test again, shall we?

 

 

Notice the location difference? Not even the internet can figure out how in the middle of bumfuck nowhere I am.

 

I also have data limits. 5 GB a month.

Well, i honestly don't have much of anything, if anything to brag about.

 

I mean most people have something crazy they can do, or have done, or have or whatever.

 

Well me? I don't have anything really. 

 

I'm pretty bleh at most things i do, at best most things I do end up pretty mediocre. I play trumpet which i'm decent at I guess.

 

Otherwise not only do i not like to brag much, but there isn't really anything amazing about me.

 

I'm pretty meh average as a person overall.

My Shameless bragging rights are not much but here I go.

 

-My good friend has the entire mane six cast of MLP on speed dial. sadly he lives in California.

 

-I myself Actually met and had a beer and a smoke with the Adam sezler of G4s attack of the show.

 

I also have several autographs from various anime voice actors as well and had shown up to  an anime convention with an rpg-7 prop.

Well, as i am in a good mood i may aswell post in here.

 

 

I pretty much always come top on score boards on any FPS game, especially on PC.

 

You will actually find it difficult to beat me at a game that i know how to play, when i am trying i pretty much never loose.

 

I was in the first 100 people in the world to Prestige on Call of Duty: Black ops (the first one), i hit prestige 1 on day of release, in that time i go banned from around 20 servers.

 

My Grandparents on both sides of my family are well respected and well known, which is pretty cool i guess.

 

I've been told i have great leadership skills, although i do quickly loose passion when things start going wrong repeatedly (i seem to attract bad luck )

 

I was once considered the best singer in my year by my friends and the teachers at my school at the time, before my voice broke.

 

I can still sing some songs, although i'm not sure exactly how good i am.

 

Quite a few people tell me i have an awesome voice because of how deep it is :3

 

I'm English, we have an awesome accent... not as awesome as the Southern American accent though :3
