searching Canterlot Prison

Not sure if to join in, it would be my first Roleplaying thread, i'm afraid i would slow down the story for other ponies.

 

I've had experience with Roleplays though, i'm not a newbie.

 

In the meantime of me thinking it through, i didn't see an application form for a guard/officer (if you can be one), mind adding that?

Well, for the guard thing, just say that you want to be a guard. Or a warden. It would be nice to have one of those.

You should try to balance the teams, as in the people in a wing of a jail cause there are allot of people in north and none in east.  Just bringing that up.

 

Also another question, are the prisoners trying to just escape or they also trying to take over the other wings.

Each side is full of other (NPC) prisoners as well.

And you can do pretty much what you want. Each side wants to claim the prison, so they can finally take on the guards and escape that way.

The RP will much likely start tomorrow, as I got guests coming over today.

Piaga's insane, but she can grab hold of some sanity from time to time. She refers to herself in Plural because of the Mirror she used (see link) that made her two ponies. She managed to hold more of her sanity than ever just  for this rp.

I wasn't the one telling you to spell correctly, that was a bit out of line of Al Capony to say.

Besides, nopony's super fantastic at spelling. Everypony makes a mistake sometimes so the odd one or two wrongly spelled words isn't a problem. However, if somepony's post is nothing BUT badly spelled words and no attention to grammar, then it becomes a bad thing. It's very difficult to read a post that's nothing but chatspeak, for example.

Exactly. Sometimes I type too fast and mess up on my spelling. My keyboard has been the cause of "sweeteetie", "emoluments", and "heen heppy" (Sweetie, Elements, and been happy were the desired outcomes). Or, I'm typing something, and then think of a better way to explain something that includes different worrds, and forget to delete a word. They're common mistakes. it's fine.

But like Pripyat said, nopony wants to see completely illiterate posts. In a RP or fanfic, it's much easier and enjoyable to read:

Twilight Sparkle opened her new spellbook, and noticed that she already knew a lot of the spells. There still were spells that she didn't know, and when she saw one, she giggled with elation.
"Ooh! More spells to learn! I'm so excited," she squealed. "Now, where is Spike?"

(Also, I am not blowing it out of proportion, I have seen spelling and grammar like this before. Luckily, not here on MLPForums yet, but that doesn't mean it's not a possibility.)
