Getting back into traditional work

This is my first time posting here But I thought I'd give it a try.

I've recently been drawing more traditional work because my tablet broke. I'm trying to get better of course, but I'd like to share with you a picture I drew earlier ^^ It's for an art trade on deviant art. Thank you very much ^^ She's a very pretty OC isn't she? I enjoyed drawing her. I'm glad to be doing more traditional work though, I guess it gives me a break and can release a lot of unneeded stress >.<

          Nicely done my friend, you clearly have a good handling on not only line work but also on colors. As for your little poll up top I'd suggest adding a "other" option. The reality is that your skill and focus will always shift based upon demands, not everyone wants digital works and the same can be said about traditional works. If I had to vote though I'd say that traditional goodies would be the way to go. There's something more personal when you actually have a hard copy of something in comparison to the digital, ya know?

Thank you very much ^^ I have a very steady hand when it comes to lining work. I've added the 'other' option for you. I do much prefer my traditional work now that I look at it, I guess I've always wanted to be like everyone else moving up to the next step and getting more professional and 'clean' as they put it. But I do enjoy the mark marking and the ability to use so many different medias at once. I totally agree with the personal comment. I love having work right there in front of me to look at. I have so much traditional work from the past I love looking at it to see how much I've improved in such little time. ^^

This was for an art trade :3 It's not my OC but the person's who is trading with me. ^^ Her OC is called Tri-Voltage and I'm in love with her mane >u< haha. Thank you so much ^^ I'm getting really excited I want to draw more ponies now but it's awfully late xD And I hate tiring myself out because I feel terrible in the morning e,e I might open a request thread for now for filling up some free time of mine. ^^

That's a perfect explanation of traditional art, it is nice having an actual physical copy in front of you!

 

Definitely keep it up, I'd love to see more!

Very lovely work you have here, as well as on your DeviantArt account.  The colors are very well balance and your line work is quite nice and solid.

 

I do hope to see more of your work here as well, and if you would decide to open up a request thread, I am sure you would receive quite a number of replies (even more so if you have the skills for both traditional and digital artwork).
