Flitter Chibi

I am really wanting to get better at digital art, this is a practice drawing of my chibi style ponies!

 

I wanted to draw Flitter (again) because why not eh? The cutie mark is a bit messed, but here you go.

 

I just realized I forgot her bow! Oh well, too lazy to add it. xD

This is amazing, Chaos! I remember that Flitter was my favorite pony at one point, and I would've loved it then. Not saying I don't love it now! This shall now be the newest addition to my gallery.

What methods do you use to draw (including software/hardware)?

 

I would actually be interested to see some of your work if your piece had more of a refined look to it. The lines are all jagged and whatnot, as if you used a not-so-advanced program or with a mouse or something like that.

 

The design itself is cute, and you aren't bad at drawing, but I'd really be impressed/pleased if it were drawn in something better. Perhaps even I could refine it in AI, if you'd want.

You must have just used a large brush, then, and didn't erase very much.

 

It would be neat if you were to layer everything in the image and then go back in to erase in fine detail to make extremely smooth lines. It would be very cute.

 

I also wonder if it was the tool you were using to draw. Usually Photoshop auto-smooths out lines a bit, I thought...

I'm still quite unfamiliar with photoshop and all of that, I'm sure there must be a way to smooth out lines, I just don't know it.

 

I will try to get better, but I'm just having fun with it really.
