Ugh "The Lightning Thief" was a huge disappointment. That novels were some of my favorites as a young lad, but that movie SUCKED. I didn't even consider going to see "A Sea of Monsters" because the first one was so bad. Also Eragon. That movie just sort of fell flat on it's face.

Avatar: The Last Airbender, was a pretty awful movie. The director was considering of making a sequel, luckily the movie sucked so bad that there will never be a sequel. The adaptation of the show to the movie, was really bad. So, that movie was a spit in the face of the fans of the show.

The Amazing Spider-Man was a let-down for me. I should have seen it when I realized that they were rebooting the series so soon. Poor and cliche storyline, tedious backstory, and so little action contributed in me not liking the movie.

I'd have to say Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. It tied to go all dark, edgy, and serious and wound up loosing the kinda silly comic book charm the first movie had.

It's even more frustrating because there was actually some cool scenes and plot points/ideas that I liked, but as a whole it just didn't pull together.

The most dissapointing and worst movie is this movie that many bronies don't even recognize.

This huge dissapointment called Equestria Girls.

I'd have to disagree, considering I kind just expected "okay" going into it, It wound up being surprisingly good and I quite enjoyed it.

Agreed, the books were actually quite good, the movies just were not. + bad casting, shovel face and emotionless mouth breather shouldn't have been casted for the movie.

To be fair, he hated the hell out of it once he actually got his hands on a copy of the book and a full script, so a lot of the bad acting was probably intentional in the hopes it would crash and burn and he wouldn't have to continue his contract.

My issue with Twilight as a whole is that the Highlander TV Show does much of what it does as far as exploring immortality and how such beings have relationships with humans far better

It is a decent movie but it is kind of dissapointment to me.

I understood that you enjoyed it and it is OK.

Actually the Last Airbender is the worst of them all

Man of Steel. :\

I loved the music and it had great visual effects...! But...I really didn't like the pacing or the apocalyptic tone of it, especially at the end when Superman causes thousands of preventable deaths. ._.

Pirates of the Caribbean 4.

I really liked the first 3 films (and despite maybe getting worse each time really liked then and find I can watch them over and over to try and work out it all), but the 4th was just bad.

Didn't really like the story, and over all the acting was just not as good!

I say, "Otogiriso (2001)". Well, most of Japanese horror movies are crap, in my opinion, but... this is just exceptional. The whole story is weak and uninteresting, and I found it really hard to watch from the beginning to end, because it was so boring and poorly made.
One of the worst horror movies ever.

Prometheus - only ALIEN fans will understand.

Avatar (James Cameron) - Too much hype over 3D effects; wasn't a fan of the extraterrestrial fauna other than those pterodactyl-things.

Star Wars Episode I/Jurassic Park 3 - An utter disappointment to each franchise.

I think World War Z and Evil Dead 2 were the only disappointing movies I've seen, at least as far as I can remember, pretty sure there was some other movie that was based on a video game but I can't really remember.

I would say the purge. It had so much hype for being super scary and edgy, but in reality about 20 minutes into it, it just turned into a generic, "we are in your house, trying to kill you" thriller. It wasnt scary at all. It had so much potential too

I totally agree with the prometheus thing also you might not agree with this statement but they could of done without ALIEN ressurection IMO.

But too add to the list of dissapointments. I was and still am very fond of avatar the anime not the james cameron movie.

So when I heard about the last airbender film I was like omg with CGI as it is now days this should be epic . But know It was so bad that I have had to watch the anime 2 more times all the way through to reconfirm aangs epicness.

For me Battleship, I had just completed my enlistment in the navy, and was looking forward to seeing how Hollywood would portray the navy, needless to say they did haphazardly. It also looked like they duct taped it together from other movies, such as Titanic, Transformers and Independence Day, you could see the clichés before they happen and is so predictable, the acting was very wooden or just under acting, because there were many non actors in the movie. Battleship didn't do a good job at depicting the navy, as they were using almost every military movie clichés; a thing I never experience in the actual navy, just a Hollywood interpretation of what the navy is to them. If Battleship is good for anything is that it can be riffed, and I love to riff movies MST3K style, yet I do want Rifftrax to lampoon this movie in the future.

I'm an ALIEN fan, but the director did admit its a tie in, not a prequel.

Totally agree about JP///, though.

The Lost World Jurassic Park.Such a crappy sequel to a wonderful classic!!! The "heroes" do rather stupid things which result in the death of many characters, while the "villains" do their best to protect their butts. And don't get me started on JP3...

Actually, the "bad antoagonists" is one of the reasons why TLW is my favorite of the trilogy. It seems more realistic, to see characters who aren't always just goody-goody or mr meanypants.

Exactly. Because of that, Ridley was at liberty to change numerous things from ALIEN for the new movie. This resulted in something that was somewhat a disgrace to ALIEN.
