Alright, this thread is where you show some fun games that you don't have to pay for. Pretty simple eh? Just don't include games you have to pay for, otherwise that defeats the purpose of this thread.

Here's some suggestions from me (Not all descriptions are good, but I tried my best to describe them).

Happy Wheels

Basically you can choose from an assortment of wheel based transports to get through a level. All levels are made by average Joes who have way too much time on their hands. Warning- Can be quite bloody.

----------------------------------

Rebuild 2

You are in charge of a small fort encampment in the middle of a zombie infested city. Survive in the zombie infested hellhole. It's like being the general of a group of soldiers, sending them on different missions and things.

----------------------------------

Battleships Forever

I use this game to make my avatars ^^ I recommend you read the review on the page itself. Warning- You have to download it, and sometimes it ends up losing a file or something that makes it no longer playable. But that's easy to fix, just uninstall and reinstall, which take only about 1 minute.

----------------------------------

And that's what I got, now let's see what you guys have to offer. Or, you can comment on the games I've suggested.

Team Fortress 2

An incredibly fun class based FPS. It is free on steam.

All weapons and stuff can he gotten from random drops, which occur about once every hour or so of playtime, wIth a cap of 8-12 per week. You can also buy weapons with real money if you don't want to wait. Also, only premium players can trade. You are premium if you either bought the game before it became F2P, or buy something in the Mannco store (TF2's in game store.) if you buy something, a weapon, hat, anything, you'll have a premium account permanently.

MechWarrior 4

One of the best mech sims out there. Fully customizable mechs, tons of missions on various planets (which are taken mercenary style). Use the money you get from completing missions to buy more mechs and weapons, or head over to Haloran to compete in the professional mech tournaments.

It was released back in the early 2000's and runs on almost any modern computer. It was re-released for free a year or two ago to build hype for an upcoming mechwarrior franchise reboot.

League of Legends

An action real time strategy game. Each team has 5 players, each with a different champion and the objective is to fight your way into the enemy the enemy base and destroy their nexus. Each team has waves of npc minions spawning that rush towards the enemy base and fight anything they meet on the way, you can kill these to earn exp and gold to buy new items to improve your character. This stuff is vital to winning but it resets each game. Its much deeper than I can describe so you should check out some videos if you're interested.

Alien Swarm

Top down coop shooter. Its entirely free, there's no store or anything. There's 4 classes, medic, commader, tech, and special weapons. You level up to earn new weapons and equipment. The campaign that comes with it is fun but pretty short, there are quite a lot of community maps and missions though.

Actually I enjoy most games on miniclip, but my absolute favorite game there has to be Commando. It's just basically a metal slug clone, fun enough though.

I know! I nearly shit myself when I heard MW4 went free. They added a ton of weapons and totally revamped the multiplayer, but I can't get I to work, and from what I hear, hardly anybody plays. Still, it's a great single player game :)

Also, League of Legends is awesome :)

Gotta love League of Legends! Then there's this website, which has a ton of free games. Some of them are actually quite fun and amusing. The best part is they're community made, so there's constantly new ones being added! http://sandbox.yoyogames.com/browse

This is probably one of my favorite ones though: http://sandbox.yoyogames.com/games/20326-granny-and-snowmen

Well, there's Dungeon Fighter Online. Even though you can buy items like avatar equips for your character with real money, it's also possible to play without these special avatar equips. Even then, you can trade for these items with the in-game gold currency so you can stay F2P if you have enough patience to get enough gold... It also plays out like an arcade-style MMO where you can go through dungeons after choosing the one you wanna go through in the main world. Since it's an MMO, there is the level up system, of course :P And you choose which class you wanna be when you create your character! After reaching level 18, you can do a class advancement into a sub-class to develop your character even further! Oh, let's not forget skills. You purchase your skills using Skill Points, which automatically reset upon advancement at level 18. Skill builds mean everything since you have a limited amount of SP to work with, so plan your builds carefully.

Oh yeah, they even have PvP in the game as well! It's up to 8 players for PVP, and 4 players for dungeon running. But the thing about PvP in DFO is it's Peer2Peer, meaning unless you have a good connection with the other players, the game will lag up... But sometimes even if it shows a bad connection, you still play just fine :P This applies to the dungeon runthroughs as well, so be warned
