Okay, this show is indeed "Special". When I came across this show while babysitting, my words were: "Are you kidding me?" I don't hate the show, but it is a little too weird for me. So, do you all like, hate, despise this show?

This show is like being high on drugs, and enjoying a bad show in the process. Uncle Grandpa has a really good lineup of voice actors but, it just has no plot. Instead, it's just random stuff with no reason to it, but just because it's a kids show does not mean that they can't try.

due to uncle grandpa's catch phrase i made up a sign a lot like the circle game but you have to have 3 fingers up. if you see 3, you hit the back of your neck 3 times. see 2 of these 3, then you hit the back of your neck 6 times.

 

I never seen the show, but when I tried to watch Adventure Time, it had a back-to-back marathon of COMMERCIALS

Who ever came up with this show's idea, should be arrested and thrown in prison.. But one can dream though right?

 

Anywho, ive seen the show once.. awful everything! Wasn't funny, and just creeped me the hell out the entire time..

This show is weird, and will only have limited appeal to those who can handle that kind of stuff.

 

Believe it or not, this kind of humor was popular at the time of ren and stimpy and cow and chicken, however, as time passes, humor changes, and this type is just old and not as great as it was.

 

Overall, meh of a show, but yeah, something that I won't allow my little brother watch.

This show. What can I even say about this show?

 

I mean, I really don't think this show has a real understanding of genuine humor. It doesn't try and make slightly decent characters or be the slightest bit enjoyable, and it's interpretation of "humor" is some of the lowest I've ever seen. The characters are either complete morons or extremely unlikeable, and the plotlines don't put in the slightest amount of effort to have rhyme or reason. I watched one half-hour show of it, and I'm not going for it ever again. It was stupid, pointless, and just goes to show me how some cartoons have no understanding of decent humor and bearable characters.

 

Plain and simple, this show isn't worth being watched by the two-year olds it's aimed for. This show is almost as bad as Total Drama, and that's saying a lot. I'm normally not this critical, but the cartoon is just terrible.

 

I think I'll just stick with Regular Show.

I personally think the show is kind of dumb. That's just my opinion though, if any of y'all like it that's totally cool. This show is just a little too weird for my own personal enjoyment. (As are most Cartoon Network shows nowadays.)

Well, with craptastic shows like Adventure Time and Regular Show and the amount of positive feedback they've received for the bizarre story lines, the creators of Uncle Grandpa figured that they could do the same, just make the show more bizarre, because it amuses 7-year-olds, I honestly can't stand Cartoon Network, and the show isn't an equivalent of being high while they made it, rather, how the creators lost all reason to make a show actually engaging and rather creating cheap and replaceable episodes in where they hold no actual plot. 

 

It'll probably end like that Super Fort Awesome show or something, hopefully very soon :V

IMHO, I found this show weird. It's not something I hate, but something I would watch occasionally. I only wanted to watch it after seeing a preview for it at the movie theater. I watch the Goldbergs for the same reason, but I've seen every episode, since it's less weird than Uncle Grandpa and is actually good.

I have seen this Uncle Grandpa. And I to have found it a bit odd. But then something happened. I noticed that there was little to no toilet humor. Comedy cartoons can't go five minutes without referencing their bum. And I aalalso noticed how creative it is. Story boarding this thing must have been an interesting sight to behold. However, I found it to be very childish. There's no wit, and can't be bothered to employ actual wit. As for the weirdness thing. Eeeeh, I've seen weirder.

I don't watch that show. It's not my cup of tea. One of my friends told me that she thinks that the title sounds like a result of incest.

I just feel like writers of shows nowadays aren't as good. I mean, there is some good newer cartoons I like, like Adventure Time, Regular show, Amazing world of gumball (Yes, I like that show, don't know why..).

 

I first watched Uncle grandpa because it was on Cartoon Network one day and it was some episode about that tiger...and wow.......just wow. I felt as if I was on LSD or something.

Some guy: "Hey, random weird stuff is really popular, right? Regular Show, Flapjack, Adventure Time, yeah? I could totally cash in on that!"

 

So then he makes a show with random weird stuff...But only random weird stuff.

 

And it's not terrible but it's really not good either. It's...Something that exists.

Uncle Grandpa is arguably the most stereotypically retarded character that has been in a cartoon in a while, even more so than Snips and Snails and yet he gets a free pass while Derpy says a few words and parents and busy bodies who have no idea what the hell they are even talking about flip out. Even putting that obvious bias on my part aside this show is random but it just dosen't pull it off very well, the characters are incredibly boring and one dimensional and the episodes have no point whatsoever to them which wouldn't be a problem if they pulled off the random a bit better but again they don't. It just seems like another example of how entertainment is being completely and thoroughly dumbed down, they are just not trying anymore with most of these shows.

I gave it a shot. There are a few "hahah, lol" moments, but as previously mentioned, stupid isn't always funny, and that's obviously what they're trying to get across with the show.
