I just felt like tossing a question out here:

 

If you had to listen to only ONE music genre the rest of your life , what would it be and why?

(And going deaf is not an option, and you can only change the volume from 20% to 100%)

 

I chose hardstyle, because it's the only one that I can dance to. Also I love the beats and kicks in hardstyle music.

 

Edit: Hardstyle is best style.

Is it okay to use an ideal, rather than nail it down to a specific sound?

 

If so, then I choose Progressive Music in general, mainly because it incorporates a diverse number of elements from all sorts of genres. I don't think I could ever get tired of what I'm listening to if I can go from a band like Kraftwerk, to a band like Univers Zero, to a band like Uriah Heep, then back to something like Van der Graaf Generator.

So I love pony music, but you can't go wrong with some good rock! Of course, electro-swing sounds awesome too! Aw, but wait, Two Steps From Hell and John Williams make beautiful music as well, not to mention the beauty that is Beethoven!

Why can't there be orchestrated classical pony rock-swing?

A majority of songs in my Ipod are Rock songs, so it wouldn't be much of a stretch to just say that. However, if the circumstances called for it I wouldn't mind listening to Vivaldi,Chopin or Wagner.

Metal or rock I guess. I think any kind of music 24/7 though I'd get sick of eventually. I'd want some variation. But, if I had to choose I'd say metal.
