True, Twilight did say she was not used to them yet, but I don't think a whole episode about teaching her how to fly will happen. It just seems kinda boring to me. Besides shouldn't they save the flying lesson episode for Scootaloo? Seeing as she can't fly. Possible lessons could include bossiness (If RD is too pushy and forceful), respecting your teachers (Twilight getting all up in the theory, like Greenfield said), patience (if Twily gets super excited, and wants to go faster than RD wants, or more likely RD wants to go faster and Twily can't keep up). So I see potential here, plus it was stated that we could get Scootaloo involved, making a kind of RD private flight school episode. I find that to be a little Mary-Sueish. She should indeed have some flying lessons, and who better for the job than Rainbow Dash? If Twilight just randomly could start flying like if she had done it all her life, it would be a big mistake by the writers, so she has to learn it somehow. Personally, I think it would be absolutely adorable if we could see Rainbow Dash trying to teach Twilight to fly. I'm sure it would create a couple of fun scenes. They can do this a few ways. - They can do it in one episode, doing this well depends on the writer - They can only focus on it a little bit in one episode. - They can do a episode with both Twilight and scootaloo learning to fly. Especially seeing as she was able to pull off a loop-d-loop, (that would take some training as well I'd imagine)! Also, she flies from the city walls (remember that Canterlot is on a mountainside) to the camera, which is some distance away, yet in EQG, before she enters the portal (the point which you've said the movie stopped being canon) she can't even hover a few feet off the ground. It would be kind of pointless to have a training episode after the skill she displayed at the end of MMC. I am no longer active in the fandom or site. Thank you.
