Ok, so this is like the first thing I've ever created and GIMP, and I have amazed myself!

Have a look at Fluttershy.

 

 

My friends don't believe I did it, and really, the only proof I have is these screenshots I took while I was making it...

I only roughly learn yesterday, and I'm still making noob mistakes in it!

I think the only reason it turned out good is because of the music!

I have never made good graphics with resolution any higher than 64x64!

• Be sure what you're adding is worthwhile content. If all you have to add is a sentence that doesn't bring a whole lot to the table, it's most likely not worth bumping the thread over. Reviving threads is great, but at the same time, bumping too many of them for no good reason clutters the front page of the forum you're posting in.

I'd say that the fact that I'm finished is worthwhile content, so I'm bumping.

I'm not very good with making Youtube videos, besides, I'm still a beginner, the end product turned out good, however, I did a terrible job at organization (with all the layers and paths), however, I might consider it, possibly after I get a bit better.

Its... you see... DAMMIT! Its good. Its really good. Sure there are some edgy parts on the art, and not in sin city way. The coloring is good, though I don't have an image to compare it to. So yeah, gold star.

1. True, but, I am actually only 13 - plus, I'm a bit shy. :3

2. I don't really want to teach people bad practices, I'd rather wait till I'm doing stuff properly.

That's very good and nearly show accurate for a first time digital effort. 

 

Sigh, I really need to start looking at art of other ponies but Fluttershy gets the most attention from me.  I wonder why?

Yeah, that was a re-creation. Probably should have mentioned it, I also did the same with the Rainbow Dash one (except there I remembered to state that). I better go clarify up in the OP.

But yeah, this was mainly for practice.

And yeah, that would be the image I was referring to, as you can see in the progress screenshots.

Dang.. You really made that? And on your first try? That's pretty impressive. It's like basically a perfect vector of fluttershy! Or it looks that way.

 

I'd say if your going for show accurate it doesn't really get much better then this.

 

For a first time this is pretty crazy.

A pretty good start, if suffering here and there from the usual rookie ailments (line thickness, iris not accented, 2nd highlight missing ect.).

Keep up the good work a you'll be sure to improve.
