Would Pegasi be great Humanitarian aid workers?

Do you think Pegasi could make great aid workers? They can control the weather, so poorer countries populations will drop (over time) due to be less poor and having more than enough food to feed themselves, due to it being far easier to grow food.  

 

Not only that they could stop a big monster hurricane from reaching a city or put out forest fires.

 

I think a lot of Pegasi would want to be aid workers to help starving, less fortunate, poor people in our world.

Any type of pony would be good for humanitarian aid. Pegasi have the advantage of being able to drop supplies from the air and control weather. Earth ponies are better farmers and labourers, and Unicorns, well, magic, need I say more? The whole thing about natural disasters is iffy. First off, they're hard to stop, and messing with nature is a bad idea. In general, though, Pegasi could be helpful.
