So, when I created my profile on this forum, I chose to use the pony creator to design an avatar. I liked it, but I felt I could do better with my tablet, so I made this instead. It only took me about 30 minutes with my tablet and photoshop.

 

On that note, if anyone's interested in having one done, feel free to message me on my request guild thread. I wouldn't mind an excuse to make more of these.

I would like to know how you got your image to be small enough to fit as an avatar. I can't get a picture that small as I want my avatar to be Nightmare Diamond.

I think the avatar automatically shrinks to fit in the box. I made this image about 5X5" at 72pxi and uploaded it to the site. That's about all.

I made another for example. I'm going to keep making more and post a set sooner or later.

I titled this one "Bubblegum" due to my arbitrary colour selection looking kind of like bubblicious gum.

Damn dude I must say if you have the time to do this and have a opportunity to use some creative time then why not use it? It'll be a sweet sip if you could make on of Either Vinyl or Luna. Why because why not?

I'm down for suggestions. If you'd like one I can probably do any of the characters. They'll be in my art style, but I can do them.

Just finished a new set of personal avatars for myself. I tried out some new expressions, and added a little more time and detail. Here's the finished result, including my new current one.

The avatars on this forum are actually the first ponies I've ever drawn. I seem to pick up on styles pretty fast, and reference pictures help a lot as well.
