I'm out of CDs right now, but as soon as I get some, I'm re-burning my unofficial soundtrack with this replacing the version I have with audio from some electronic toy. I must admit I like it better than the short version, but the previous generations have left a really really bad taste in my mouth with the MLP song. And it extends to the G4 show's theme. I do hear hints of Winter Wrap-Up in it though, and it sounds less like that generic girly theme that I highly dislike, which is nice, I suppose. Aether Velvet is the name of the OC in my avatar. I refuse to say "meme". Anyways, I like very much. Nice seeing/hearing an extended version. I actually like the punniness. Still prefer the original for the reasons Zoop stated, though. I just hope the line "As easy as Pinkie Pie" never gets used for a disturbing fanfic. Just hope it doesn't ever end up being used in episodes, which I doubt it ever would. It'd take a good chunk out of the episode's time. You know "meme" is just French for "same". If you have Firefox get the Download Helper add-on. It makes it very easy to download Youtube videos. The OP's youtube link was uploaded as an MP4.
