What if somepony else had been Celestia's student?

I had a mental thought of pinkie pie as Celestial's student.

and even before i thought about it more i was like
"OH that should get a thread."
And the more i thought about it the more fun it got.

 

Okay imagine if pinkie showed up, hair straight, and she's the up tight one she only knows about parties an fun from books,

 

the more i thought about it the more i loved it.  Wouldn't it be neat to see twilight be friendly to start with someone else having to be the uptight pony?

 

Rarity being the uptight upper class socialite,

Apple jack being to much of a work horse

with her element being honesty maybe her role as a scribe, for princess Celestail, no seriously think about apple jack as the lead of the show.

 

I might totally fail but I'd be curious to peak at that.

 

I mean flutter shy being forced to go out and make friends?  Maybe she could been the royal care taker for the animals on the grounds.

Or having rainbow dash being a wonder bolt in Princess celestial service and having never had the time or drive to make friends.

 

This isn't just an excuse to down play twilight, I'd be just as curious to see twilight as support.

Eh, not a whole ton would change.

 

Also technically Celestia's student needs to be a unicorn. Or else they can't do magic.

 

But putting another charactor in twilights role wouldn't change a ton, depending on if its an entirely new one of an existing, if they're personality was difference or thoughts then it might be a bit different, but frankly i don't think super different.

 

 

The characters typically are involved especially post S1 pretty much together and each gets their own alone time.

 

So only a few times where twilight is the main focus only would that matter.

Not really a huge change if you think about it. Her student would have to be a unicorn, due to the requirement of learning spells and using magic. Not a lot would change, since in the beginning the 6 main characters got their own individual episodes.

I'm going to go with nay on this one. For one Celestia, can only teach magic to others. So only Rarity in the end could learn from her. Not to mention to what you described, you just turn all of the other mane 6 into Twilight. I don't even if they were under Celestia's teaching they all end up like social outcast.

Yeah me neither, i was just what iffing.

 

and i suppose it would, however it would require slight personality changes, since the introvertedness twilight had was part of her.

 

Frankly i think it fits her well, better then the others would in her position.

If this did happen i'd imagine Twilight having the hair she did in episode one when rainbow does her "patterned RAINBLOW DRY" and maybe i could be an episode twilight gets sick of her Princess duties and asked discord or someone to switch roles for a day and you see applejack being posh and uptight working of the farm trying not to get dirty, Rainbow being shy and not showing off her sweet moves Twilight going crazy maybe breaking the 4th wall and pinkie taking Twilights role i saw pitch it to DHX and hasbro season 5 finale maybe

Discord being on the good guys side just opens up all possibilities.  But yeah twilight sick of her princess duties?  Hmmm I like it.
