Depends on what they do and how well they pull it off. I'd definitely give it a go though as long as it doesn't really involve killing off a character or something like that. Even that could be done well but it would feel out of place for me.

The show is drawing a more mature audience, but because the show is aimed at young children, such an episode would have to be executed in a manner that would be family friendly. Having a tear-jerker episode would require a story that young kids can understand without it being too shallow to appeal to an older audience. I have confidence in the writing staff, but they would be walking a fine line. They may make episodes that are more emotional, but I don't think they would attempt to make a true emotional episode unless it was for something major such as a season finale or a turning point in a significant story arc.
