What do you think about people introducing really negative or adult aspects

What you're talking about is fan fiction. It has absolutely no affect on the pony world whatsoever as it is not canon and not official. This discussion is ultimately pointless and you really don't have a right to say what other fans can or can't write in their spare time.

(that being said, I'm not exactly a fan of stuff like that "Smile" video, blegh)

 

On the other hoof, there is already "adult" material in the official story.

- Death: King Sombra died, Nightmare Moon obliterated a TimberWolf onscreen, Pinkamena Pie's clones were each killed for failing a staring contest

- Sex: Shining Armour and Cadence have a baby, the "Cakes" have twins, ParaSprites multiply onscreen.

- here are some other adult subjects covered in the show:

Depression, Self Harm, Guilt, Marriage, Near Death, Ailment, Corporate Takeover, Sacrifice, Getting Old, Loyalty, Greed, 

 

It's all about how they are presented and since the show is governed by a rating system (PG I think?) there will never be any of the smut/gore you seem to be so scandalised over, so, again, your concerns are pointless.

I couldn't have said it better. I'm tired of seeing people throwing a fit over subjects they deem as "toxic" and accusing others of trying to change the show. Seriously, DHX will never take MLP in any dark direction, so WTF does anyone care what's in a fanfic?

No. Just no.

A lot of people enjoy MLP as an escape from the real world and it's problems. I myself enjoy it for this reason. If we had such mature and uncomfortable subjects in the show, it would drive many people away.

I'd rather keep the show light and happy, with the occasional fight or two.

Tag your stories and art appropriately so children and people not interested in those kinds of things can easily avoid or not stumble into them.

I can only accept fanwork involving what is canon to the show. Though I do like to see fanwork with more complex concepts in it. An engaging and emotional story or a complex story are not bad to see in at least fanwork for once as long as they stay canon. I can't take something like Fallout Equestria very seriously though because it's just so far from canonity.

I mean, I consider myself to be pretty thick, as in I have tough skin. I don't care if I'm reading a fanfic or watching a fanmade mlp video and there's guts and gore. I don't mind sexual pictures of ponies either like you see in r34 and such. I think if they introduced anything like that into the show then I don't think it would fit, I think the show should stay like a safe haven for people who are maybe trying to flee from all of that adult stuff.

There's respect for life, and there's not. Sexuality, as many other forms of comunication, can be experienced from a healthy, natural expression. Or from a toxic one.
Much of the sexuality related content circulating in our world, falls within the second category. Which is to say, people have lost contact, respect and care for life. They're afraid of themselves.

So sexuality turns degenerative, and harmful, as any other form expression gone wrong. This is problematic, since you'll have adult children having children.

The quality of the act conditions the offpsring. Given this, sexuality remains a shameful subject. Sad how life turns bizzare in the wrong hands.
 

I don't have issue with any form of expression coming from a place of respect and care for life.

 

Yet most adult forms of consciousness remain premature, due to harmful enviroments for life development on earth. Starting from the family.
