Awrighty, ah'll tackle this one in groups.

 

1) Nah, ah'm not a believer in that doomsday nonsense. After all, the closest thing Equestria has come ta that was Nightmare Moon and Discord, and both times Harmony prevailed. So ah'm pretty confident we're not getting eternal night or anything weird anythime soon.

 

2) Ehh, ta be honest ah'd rather be outside buckin' apples. But ah saw the rest of my friends doin' it, and didn't want mahself ta be the only pony without.

 

3) Magic tends ta screw up technological evolution...a lot. Or at least that's what Twilight claims.

Opinion on war in general? And what was the last major conflict your country had? Your people know of tanks and rifles, and you do have, even if it is a token, paltry useless guard force, a military body nevertheless.

Ah haven't studied your human wars much. Ah'm sorry, but ah don't know what the "Vietnam conflict" is. Although, all wars are bad, ah think. And Equestria really hasn't had a major war for a long time...the last one was way before even Granny Smith's generation. It was the one between Equestria, Pegasopolis and Unicornia, ah think. And tanks and rifles are outlawed by the princess herself. She's havin' none of that stuff within the borders of Equestria.

Aw shucks, Equestria ain't as socialist as ya think. Most ponies get by from the bits they earn at their jobs. The ponies who need a little extra help usually get it from their freinds and family. It's kindness that makes Equestria go around, from bits donated by friendly neighbors ta volunteers helpin' ta build a new home. And that's what makes this country special.
