"Oh, does he wanna be a doctor to?" Kira asks, the narrator is thinking about the tight schedule that doctors always have, I mean surely he has a lot of work and papers to sign, right?

He's pretty polite.

Dr. Ray: His mom taught him. Well, i have to tend to other patients, enjoy your breakfast.

I dont think she gives make up work to students who've been in the hospital for 2 months.

"Oh yeah, she's been sending us the work to do here, I just kinda forgot about that, hehe." Kira says.
