Ok, I just got finished with watching a new Walt Disney movie I just got, talking about Walt Disney.

They talked about movies, then came up to Bambi, which made me happy

Then I learned something that I didn't know.

The Original plan for the scene of Bambi's moms death was, like the original, but then Bambi found his mothers body, bloody in the snow, dead, and then his father arrives. Walt Disney then said that he didn't like the idea, and so, took out the idea.

The movie teaches a good moral about life, but I am glad that they did not do it.

Mostly because it was a cartoon movie, and I just don't like the idea of it being kind of realistic like that.

What do you think?

Since the movie teaches the moral about life, I wouldn't really want the original scene plan to be in the movie if it was intended to be in the movie can't really put something like that in a Disney movie.

I don't think it'd be a good idea, but also for a slightly different reason.

 

Bambi's mother's death worked because it was so SUDDEN. Like BAM, gunshot. Dead. 

 

Don't drag it on any longer.

There are some movies where the original scene is better than the one in the final cut. This isn't one of them

it would've awesome under normal circumstances, but as a family movie, a scene like that would be too strong. It's good as it is

I think the scene as it is works better in the film as a whole.

You’re supposed to shock the kids with a death scene, not scar them!

It's a terrible idea, you'll get boycotted and cause trauma in young kids.

That scene's depressing enough. I don't think it needs to be gruesome too.
