My opinion is that teleporting isn't a spell every character should know. It can ruin the game. Same with healing magic.

Oh he won't just abandon the group, not yet. He's just moving ahead cause he's tired of waiting right now. But you may end up having this happen. Clockwork's loyalty depends on where he will gain the most out of a situation. If he sees being with a group more beneficial to him, he will stay with them. On that note, team brandy hasn't done a whole lot to make him want to stick around yet. They've even been somewhat hostile towards him at points.

I guess having your character know every spell already could get really annoying.

 

Yeah - I've got a load of unicorns, but most of them are limited to very specific magics.

 

Scribe cant really do any, Emerald uses charm and deception... even Orion is pretty much limited to spells that break things without the Litany.

 

Bardic is a bit more general purpose - but his magic is a bit weird anyway. 

 

None of them can teleport.

Teleporting seems to be pretty high level magic if we're going off the show, too.  Does anyone other than Twilight even use it?  But anyways, I agree, unicorn magic should be kinda specified to whatever their talents are.  

 

Only examples I have are Stahl, who can pick things up and make flashes of light, and Ember who can...  Light things on fire...  He's a pyrotechnician, not a pyromaniac!  Okay, well probably both.  

 

I'm still not counting Pavisa as a unicorn.  XD

Denarius simply smirked at Scribbler's insignificant glare. He passed by the mare as she greedily munched upon a pepper, only stopping for a moment to make a quiet passing remark. "Mirror, was it, do you not find it ironic on how similar their situation is to my own? All of us were given a simple choice between wandering in cold's embrace or to follow you. The only difference was you saw me as nothing more than chaff, while you view them as having intrinsic value", he continued on towards the sparks, to hopefully finish clearing them, chuckling slightly at his own little comment to the mare.

Two things, ones me being nitpicky and the other I'm confused.

 

1.) I'm pretty sure that I just wrote her taking one bite. That doesn't really equate to greedily munching does it?

1.) He hasn't had anything to eat either in roughly the same time frame, didn't bring any food, so it's more how he viewed it. Granted, he would of done the same thing, and probably eaten more than one bite.

 

2.) He's trying to screw with Mirror's head, suggesting that Team Serious is only interested in them because they actually could have value to you three. Remember, I've only been with the party for roughly one day, and still there is some pretty big suspicion around despite giving up his money to save Scribbler, and trying to save Willow twice. He's enjoying the game to say the least.

Actually now that I re-read it, it wasn't exactly directed at everyone, but he would know Scribbler has food. If you have Denarius ask, he'll share. Scribbler's a very generous pony.

the only unicorn I've got is squire, and he only knows levitation magic and can barely lift his sword with it.

1.) Oh okay, I thought that might have been what you were doing but I wasn't sure. Also as you now know Scribbler made the offer of food for the whole group.

 

 2.) Oh, well I'll give it to him for messing with my head. I'm not sure how effective it was on Mirror though. I'm pretty sure she'll be confused as to why he said that. I feel like there is a lot more to say on this subject but I don't know what it would be.

Oh, I have a lot more to say about the subject. The comment was originally going to be directed at Kingfisher and Pavisa, but you guys seem so intent on making me scurry away, so Mirror seemed like the next most enjoyable target to hit. In addition, I'm still trying to get a little bit of a conversation started between the two other than the passing grunt. Don't worry there is always more for me to say. 90% of the time, I'm actually limited on what I can type due to other events occurring simultaneously in the background, oh well.

Since other people have discussed their unicorn OC's abillities...

 

I only have three Unicorns. Silver Heart, Snowy Fields, and Mirror Image.

 

Silver Heart can't really do any magic besides the most basic of spells. So she barely uses her magic.

 

Snowy Fields can only really use Ice/Snow magic. Obviously he can do the basics too. Snowy is pretty competent even without his magic. At least when it comes to being a soldier.

 

And then there is Mirror Image who uses Illusion magic. Mirror Image is pretty dependent on her magic.

Well, to be fair, Denarius didn't really help his attempt to diffuse the temperament of the other two in our midst.
If you like self serving, you should try to join up with Clockwork. He'll be on his way soonish if I'm right in guessing. Their paths will eventually link up again.

Also on the topic of unicorns, Scribbler is able to teleport and use healing magic, but those are both skills I've worked into his story as being pretty important spells to know. That, and his teleportation being his focus, because it was his innate ability from foalhood. I've modeled him much like Twilight in his abilities (not the alicorn version) Though his specializations are teleportation and fire magic. He has other abilities, but they're lesser in power. I didn't want him to be too OP.

Feel free to bring up more on the subject when you have time. I've been pretty busy this past week too, although that only seems to be when the RP is updating. Then when I get the free-time to write posts nothing happens.

 

I thought that was what you were doing...but then he walked off so I wasn't sure. They can talk during one of the next downtime's I think. 

 

And while it's great that Denarius actually helps, Unlike Zintiik, he doesn't always need to do it immediately. Like they could talk for a few posts then get to it.
