Here's another one: Mirrors don't reflect all light perfectly. In fact, a little light is lost when light passes through and is reflected from it. But mirrors reflect wavelengths in the 510 nanometer range best, which, on the visible spectrum, is a kind of green. So if you hold two mirrors directly at each other and look into one, you'll see them get greener as more light is reflected back and forth until it turns black because all the light has been absorbed. 

 

So by saying that mirrors best reflect the color green, it's possible to say that a mirror is actually green. There's a pretty neat Vsauce video on the subject where I got this. I love Vsauce.

I read somewhere that no matter how long you've actually lived, no part of your body is older than 10 years. So at any given point in time, the oldest you really are is ten years old.
