gaming BF4 Opinions?

I honestly believe ive wasted my money on Battlefield 4.

-Constant crashes
-Maps made solely for snipers
-OP weapons
-Battlelog
-Netcode problems
-One shot problems

(I know its still early days but as a generalization this is the WORST battlefield game so far)

I dont know if its just me or its everyone, and i dont want to sound cliche, but Battlefield sold out man.

I play it, haven't had many problems with it, Alpha sure, shorty after release the crashes sucked and they fluffed up my premium order, so I didn't actually get china rising until a couple days ago.

 

My big thing with the BF series is that they've made vehicles too overpowered by giving them infinite ammo. Now you see tanks, apc's, etc... just blowing the hell out of buildings all the time. There was a day when you had to worry about ammo conservation in vehicles and because of that you couldn't just sit there and lob shells at everything. 

 

I really have enjoyed team deathmatch mode. Small maps, no vehicles... I've yet to run across a high ticket count TDM server tho.

IMO if they took recon out of the game and made vehicles slightly softer the game would be a hell of a lot better.

Seems that getting spawn raped is a whole lot more common in this installment

I enjoyed BF4. Actually more than BF3. But then two weeks ago, I went to go play the campaign and all of my data was erased. I sold it just because of that and got COD. I believe it was the next day where I found out that there was still bugs in the game and other people had the same campaign problems. If I knew this before I did that, I would still have it. But I will get it again when I get the money back because I used to dominate on Conquest on "Siege of Shanghai."

Frankly, I enjoyed playing BF3 than BF4 because of the campaign. Both of them have their problems, plus I think remaking most of the old maps to release as DLC is pretty pointless.

BF4 is the best battlefield game. Let me tell you why.

1. Fine-tuned most balancing issues, like the MP7s OPness.

Apparently the OP is new to this, the real op weapons of battlefield are:

MP7 BF3

GOL BFBC2

IGLA BF3

2. Slightly less realistic. Makes Recon an effective class instead of practically useless.

3. Levelution.

4. The soundtrack doesn't sound like farting anymore.

5. Graphics are better.

 

But I acknowledge, there are some bad things. Like...

1. Slight advantages for those that have been playing longer.

2. Shotguns. They are now OP, didn't used to be. Not as bad as the MW2 SPAS-12, but not good nevertheless.

3. Bad for Xbox. Lots of crashing, because Xbox 360's can't handle the greatness. I only play it on Xbox because I don't have it for PC (YET, but I'm determined to get it)

I've actually been really enjoying Battlefield 4 so far. I've only had it for a few days, and it's better than I though it would be. I have to say, some of the new maps were actually made pretty well. Except Locker. I freaking hate the Locker map. Metro was fun for me. This locker map is just chaos. The flight controls for the Jet/Helicopters are kind of weird, but I'm sure we'll get used to them. The recoil on the guns feel different too, which is nice as it changes up the game. I can't snipe for crap though. Also, on the topic of snipers, there are too many of them.

 

The campaign is a hell of lot better than Battlefield 3's, that's just my opinion though. Anyways, as I stated above I'm pleased with my purchase on this one.

I'm pretty happy with my decision on buying BF4 sure it had a bit of a rough start with crashes and such but DICE are working hard on fixing the issues. I really love the map design and customization options plus commander mode .

Its the best multiplayer game I've played so far. Its fun, its memorable and its a good all-arounder. I am aware of the crashes and bugs, but I haven't even experienced these problems yet. Maybe thats why my opinion is different to all the whiners.

 

1) The Maps + Dynamics

The maps are freakin' huge and the dynamics are amazing. For example, how the storm builds up on Paracel Storm is incredible. The levolution is a welcome edition to the game and adds to the overall feel of it.

 

2) Vehicles

The best part of Battlefield MP is the vehicular warfare in Conquest. Especially the choppers, they're like god's war machines once you upgrade them. Plus, its fun just to dominate the server with a just a tank.q

 

3) The overall package

Imagine the awesome gameplay of BF3 multiplayer along with Bad Company 2's destruction, a new engine and just overall better. Thats this game.

I've played a lot of Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3 and from the beta I must say BF4 is a massive letdown. It feels like a minor add-on to BF3 and gameplay of the full game doesn't look much better.

This isn't exactly DICE's fault, as EA wanted to get the game out before COD to get more money. Nethertheless, the game started premature and wasn't that great. After some patching and switching it to 32 bit I was able to play it and actually enjoyed it. The Levelution is rather cool, as well as having a commander in game. 

 

Guns wise, they well over buffed the assault rifles, if they won't nerf them even a little I'd ask to buff the support class. I enjoy going on 30+ killing spree with my LMG but it's a little difficult to do when one bullet does 5 % damage at most.

TPAM must be quite the complainer. The ARs are mostly UP IMO, except M416 and SCAR-H. Thde superOP list of BF4:

I agree that many maps are built for snipers. But not all. Look at Zavod 311, seen many snipers on that? Nope, not many, because of all the trees. (sometimes there are a few on the roof in the middle of the map, but they get killed easily).

 

Tanks are OP. Unless you have C4.

 

AK-12 is OP in my opinion.

 

Conquest is just boring now, because of how big most of the maps are.

Truthfully I think its quite good. ALOT better then COD in my opinion. I have it for PS3 though, so I dunno if crashes occur more on other systems or not, but on PS3 its rather good. 
I've been having tonnes of fun and I havent found any map thats "soley made for snipers" yet. Sure, there are spots where snipers can do quite well, but I can still dominate as the Assault class on most maps.

Counter-Strike? Isnt that like 10 kills, then the game is over? Don't make me laugh!
