That awkward moment...

When your newly found friend says hi with your correct name at the end. And you have forgotten theirs so you follow them around all day until someone else that knows them says their name.

Accidentally calling the teacher "mum" in primary school.

That same thing happened to me. Plus I accidentally called male teacher 'dad'. Let's say I didn't hear the end of it for a good two months.

I think that my awkward moment dates back to when I was 11 years old. I was at someone's birthday party. I sent the birthday person a card so funny, I'd almost peed in my pants, and that is what I did. Of course they cleaned up the mess, but my embarrassment did not effect me that much.

Back in high school I had a class where we'd work on sets for the school plays/musicals. They were telling us we needed to clean our brushes, and they said scraping the bristles against the edge of the sink would help. But my brush wasn't completely clean yet, and I accidentally got little splatters all over this one girl I barely knew. She screamed and backed away. She was okay with it after she was done reacting like that, but I still felt like an idiot.  :okiedokielokie:

That awkward moment when you ask a girl out only for her to tell you she already has a boyfriend. This is generally what happens when I ask a girl out. :sealed:

Learn to ask, 'are you single?' ;)

For me, visiting a high school friend after a few years and her husband answers the door. Lollol !!!
