"Ballet? I never seen ballet before...I heard about it a while back...do you do ballet? That's pretty fantastic, best I can do is flip about in the air." ​Dusk said chuckling a bit as he floated back a bit and did a little somersault in the air all whimsical-like. He regained his usual floating posture and and did a little "Ta-Daaa" pose.

 

"Sorry if I caught you a bit off guard there....name's Dusk..enlightened to be in your presence~" He greeted her, this time trying to be a lot more formal and gentlemanly, hopefully this approach to a new face was much better than the last one, though it did appear obvious to him that she was still in a bit.....of a shock.

"I've read Shiver and City of Bones. They are amazing and I'd recommend them to anyone." By this time Joshu had wandered over to the Tome of Bookkeeping as he had noticed someone else check out their book there. "By the way, what's Pandemonium about? I don't think I've ever read that." Joshu added.

Lhee nods and quietly steps up to the vending machine, pulling his wallet out of his pocket and frowning slightly at his available funds.  There wasn't much in there.  I wonder if there's a way to make money on campus...  A part time job or something...  If not I'm going to be pretty hungry this year.

 

With a shrug he puts some of his money into the vending machine, putting his wallet away as a few granola bars fall into the tray.  He picks them up before turning back to Razor, offering her a couple of them with a small smile.  Lhee still felt bad he'd run away from Dusk, but thanks to the skull hiding his face he didn't have to worry about looking upset.

@, Kari and Damon followed Joshu "I don't know i haven't read it, i just take a random book off the shelves." Damon said showing Joshu the books again, Kari smiled "That's my Damon, never takes a book he's read before." she said chuckling.

"Oh, there you are Synthia. I guess I was correct, I thought you would get a pink one. I think they taste ok, but a bit too sweet for my tastes." Rune said. "I generally shift between flavors depending on what I feel like. If I'm feeling fine, I'll go with a yellow one. If I'm a bit angry, I'll go red with yellow sprinkles, but if I'm feeling down I'll generally choose a green one with yellow sprinkles. I just like the sour taste. Do you ever have a different taste based on your mood?"

Razor felt pretty bad for Lhee when she saw the look on his face getting his money out to pay for her snack. I don't think he has too much, doesn't seem like a rich kid either. Could be wrong, though. Might look sad because he doesn't think the machine has change for all the money he has in his wallet, or something. 

Lhee handed her a couple of granola bars and she took them happily and sort of fake-smiled but with real honesty told him "Thank you!" He wasn't a mean person at all, and was nice enough to buy her something.

Amaya glanced back and forth between the floaty boy, and the boy with a curious look who had appeared next to her.

'Where did these boys come from!'

When Dusk flipped so suddenly next to her,she was caught so off-gaurd that a small chuckle escaped her, forgetting her timidness for the slimmest moment.

"Yes, I practice ballet..You could say that I'm rather infatuated with it." She offered a prim, small smile." I'm.. Well, I'm Amaya."

"I'm Nik" Nik said, deciding that if Dusk approved her, she would be alright to deal with. "What type of gjinka are you?" the Smeargle gjinka questioned, tapping her with his tail to check if she was a rock, ice, or steel type. Her skin wasn't hard, she wasn't any of those types

Dusk chuckled back and and floated about in delight.

 

"Haaa! Made you smile~ I'm getting better at this." Dusk said twirling about quite proud of himself. 

 

"It's nice to meet you Amaya...Ballet sounds like your cup of tea...definitely something to pursue with all those fancy dance moves...though I never got how they...can stand on their tippy-toes and what nots.." Dusk replied as he floated close to the ground trying to imitate ballerinas standing on their toes, though using ghostly floating powers was sort of cheating. He then looked towards the Smeargle guy that decided to follow him.

 

"Oh! It's...that guy...the one who decided to NOT...run away from me...what a mess that was.." Dusk said floating back up as he folded his arms and kicked his legs back letting his long stripped socks dangle in the air. Seeing the Smeargle tap at her with his tail he sweated a bit, Amaya was probably still nervous and timid and he didn't want to Muk up this introduction...all puns intended.

 

"Oi we just met mate, personal space and what not, how does that tail of yours work anyhow..? Is that real paint...or is it somethin' else?" Dusk asked getting his attention.

"The stuff on my tail? It's naturally secreted body fluids, that can program memories" Nik said, demonstrating by drawing a picture of the female and tapping it on Dusk's head, giving him a memory of the picture. "In layman's terms, my paint is modified sweat" the Smeargle gjinka said bluntly

Lhee smiled and raised up a granola bar he'd kept for himself from the tray before sticking it in his pocket.  "No worries, I'm set..."  As he stands back up Lhee's hand goes back to his bone club.  It felt much better in his palm than the granola bar did.  He shuts his eyes as he smiles again; the Marowak boy was so far out of his usual comfort zone that it may as well had been back in Kanto.  He tries to push these thoughts out of his head while struggling to think of something to say.

 

Come on, Bonehead.  You promised the old man you would try to make friends.  So far you've failed at that spectacularly, you've gotten in a fight with one boy and ran like a frightened Meowth from another.  Don't screw this up.  He opens his eyes as he rubs at the back of his neck with his free hand, opening his mouth like he was going to say something but still struggling to come up with something to say.  What in the world do people talk about?  Come on, think!

 

"I...  Er...  Should we go back to the dorm, I guess?  Or was there anywhere on campus you wanted to go?  I, uh...  I have a map..."  Smooth, Bonehead.  Next time try and say it without stuttering.

She jumped abit as she was poked, taken by suprise.She would have jumped even if he hadnt suprised her, pyshical contact so casually was very...strange..( besides her dad, that is) His tail tickled, kind of like when someone would run a paintbrush over your arm.

Amaya twisted around to peek at it.

" O-Oh, Hi.. Nicholas, was it?" She asked softly.

"I'm Swanna." She began." Water and Flying, if you didn't know...That tail is quite something.."

 

"You mean Pointe Technique , I think." She remarked kindly.

 

'What a lively boy, its very refreshing, in a way.'

 "Oh well that's interesting...I don't produce sweat...never really got exposed to the sun...I'm pretty nocturnal." Dusk said as he floated back feeling at the forehead of his mask. Suddenly a grumbling noise came from the belly of the ghostly pokemon. He held his arms around it and touched ground letting himself stand up.

 

"Oh...with all this excitement going on I...didn't get any breakfast...don't suppose any of you...know where the cafeteria is? Been trying to spot it...all morning." Dusk looked up and asked the two other Gijinkas while he laughed nervously.

He's nervous? Am I scary to him? "I don't know anywhere else we can go. So I guess heading back to the room is the best idea. Though I do wonder if they have a flower garden, or something of the sort. I saw a really nice berry garden! Reminded me of home in a way." Mentioning her home didn't even spark homesickness, like she thought it would. 

This school was pretty great, no one has been super mean to her and stayed that way. The scariest people were pretty nice, but still scary. Okay! I wonder what time it is. I don't see any clocks anywhere and don't have a watch to tell.

"You just pick a random book off the shelves. That's an interesting way to read new books I guess." Joshu replied. He could hear his stomach growling as he hadn't had any breakfast besides the airline food, and even that was meager at best.

 

"Uuh heh heh. I don't suppose you want to go to the cafeteria or anything do you? The only food I've had is the airline food and that was just small." Joshu chuckled nervously.

Lhee brings up the map he'd taken from the library, opening it up and tilting his head a little as he looks at it.  He took a guess at about where they must have been, his eyes flicking back and forth as he scans over the map of the campus.

 

"It looks like there's some kind of garden...  That way, I think?  It would make sense that they would have one, I mean I'm sure they want a place for all of the students to feel comfortable...  Pretty sure flowers are like, a necessity or something if they're going to be teaching grass types..."

 

Lhee looks at her and blinks, the thought crossing his mind that he was actually talking to a grass type.  You're going to make an idiot of yourself.  Stop talking.  "Er, I'd like to get outside for a little bit too, honestly...  Too much time on floors, I miss having dirt under my feet..."  You sound like a freak.  Why do I never listen to myself!?  Just...  Go!

 

The Marowak boy chuckles nervously before looking back at the map, scratching at his back with his bone club as he starts to walk in the direction that he assumes leads to the gardens.

@, Kari shook her head "No but i'm pretty hungry too, let's go find it together, you coming Damon? she said looking over at her boyfriend "Yeah i'm kinda hungry, but after that i'm gonna find someplace to practice." he said holding his guitar up, Kari smiled and looked over to Joshu.

"I, umm, like the purple ones, with the brown sprinkles..." Little be knownst our dear characters, but poor Synthia was red-green colorblind. It wasn't extreme, but it did sometimes have an effect on the things she said. Like just now. She kind of shifted awkwardly and rubbed the arm holding the poffin as she nibbled it.

"Are... are we lost?" After walking around the halls for a long while looking for the garden, they had made a complete loop. 
Maybe there isn't like.. a regular one. Or it could be elsewhere. I can't read a map either, so its up to him and he seems kind of lost too. 
"Maybe... maybe we can go tomorrow. And go to our room for now. Or try again later?" Razor asked, since walking around and not saying much wasn't doing a lot for her nerves. Razor saw a random student and told Lhee "Wait here, really fast," and she ran over to ask for help on locating a garden, after a few seconds, she returned to Lhee. 
"Actually, the gardens are this way." Razor pointed towards a totally different direction and started walking on ahead.

Being half-gallade, he was able to sense certain things about Gijinka without them knowing, most Gijinka who were of the Ralts line were able to, especially Kirlia and Gardevoir, but Gallade Gijinka forfeit some of that for the physical strength. "So, is it your first year here? I don't think I've ever seen you around in my previous years."

Joshu nodded at the answer and consulted his map. Luckily Dark didn't sit on it otherwise he would have to get a new one. He figured out where the library was and, still consulting his map, started to head over to the cafeteria. Damon and Kari followed him. He looked up from the map and asked Damon a question.

"An Archery Range? I think so. It should be around back. I can lead you there if you'd like." Rune said. Thinking about the quickest route to the range. "I'm not sure if you'll be allowed to without staff supervision, but generally if a senior is there, the staff are pretty lenient about it. As long as that senior is responsible, and I'm pretty sure I've proven myself responsible in my past years here."
