So are their peg horses and unicorn horses>

Alicorn horses?

do horses have their own horse speak?  Like instead of every pony do they say things like "well on the other hoof."

I've never seen a horse on the show, but they must exist because they are mentioned. I assume that all of the equine characters we have seen so far except Zecora have been ponies, because they call themselves ponies. Yet there are certain characters like Big Mac who looks like a clydesdale or other type of pack horse even though his family are all ponies. Celestia and Nightmare Moon both resemble horses more than ponies because of their longer necks and taller stature. I don't think they have ever been referred to as ponies or horses. It's a good point you raise. It would be cool to see a part of Equestria that is inhabited by horses. Maybe Saddle Arabia.

But I don't personally think it proves anything about horses  that aren't ponies excising in Equastia (no offence): because with ponies being a type of horse: in my opinion it's not inappropriate to have the odd dialogue or lyric or something with 'horse' in somewhere.

 

Like how in the Simpsons universe there's only one Homer, but in one of the episodes, Lisa says cartoons don't have to be  realistic and a duplicate Homer walks past the window. Not to say there's two same characters in the universe, but it was just fitting to the joke and all of that stuff and had no real meaning as far as two of the same people in the same universe
