My own music (trance, metal, related to MLP)

Hey there, everypony!

 

I'm new here, I wanted to introduce my music to you. My project is called Depressed Pony, as I wanted to create something very melancholic and beautiful yet heavily inspired by MLP. The project was created just 2 days ago and I already have 3 songs done, however I can show you only two of them now. The musical style, as mentioned, is trance (electronics) and some kind of metal (I recorded distorted guitar at the background). Honestly I'm new to electronic music so I don't really know how to describe this genre.

So, my plan is to make an album and publish it for free via bandcamp page. I hope you like the music, enjoy!!!

 

P.S. I used soundcloud of my another project Blurry Lights which has nothing to do with MLP, it's just peaceful post-rock with pianos and clean guitar. You can listen to it too though, if you wish!

They're both good. Clouds makes me think of a sun rise over a busy intersection, and Octavia makes me think of a town covered in ashes and then in the middle people start coming out of their homes and walking towards the edge of town where they will see the next one over only to find there's nothing but a charred landscape. They don't seem overly depressing but they're very nice and calm

Just to keep my thread updated: the writings and recordings for the album going very well, 5 compositions are already done. Just about 2 more, I think, and it will be done completely. Meanwhile, would be really nice to hear more feedback about already published compositions thanks!

I decided to make 6 compositions on an album, and they sound great so far! I hope you guys will enjoy it as well as I enjoyed making it just a few more tweaks and it will be ready. Let's make a release date set to January 1st, as a free gift for everyone! The album will be available through bandcamp. I hope there are some ponies interested
