What would you want the changeling homeland to look like.

I really want to see a changeling queendom in season 4. The changeling empire is under matriarchy. Like an actual bee system of government. Do you want to see them expanded on? We can actually get land outside of Equestria. What would you rather have for a homeland?

 

1.) A dark catacomb like structure. Massive towers with underground tunnels. Tunnels are wet, disgusting, smell like the worst garbage can you can imagine. Prisons are pods stored in the deepest tunnels. Everything in general is very messy and dank.

 

2.) A goth like city, something out of the dark ages.

I think they would likely live in some kind of huge underground cave-like catacomb structure. This is supported by both their insect-like anatomy and the fact that they mobilize their forces quite efficiently without anybody noticing, leading me to believe their home is underground.

If they incorporate the comics canon it's a craggy, dead land with architecture part gothic, part lumpy mud wasp nest. Chrysalis' castle gives off a wicked witch of the west vibe. While comics are not officially the shows the canon I hope the show integrates the better concepts.

I've had the idea for a while now that it would look unusually serene and beautiful on the surface, but there are hives buried/hidden underground. It would be deceiving at first; hiding a dark secret, just like the changelings themselves. Though that's just an idea, the traditional barren and hostile design that others have imagined would be just fine too.

You know that cliche utopia you see in sci-fi and fantasy stuff, all crystal spires and togas and idyllic perfection?

 

The entire opposite of that. Dark, twisted structures, bizarre architecture and geometries, real Lovecraftian s###. Some hyper-corrupted land, like a severely glitched-out video game terrain blended with H.R Giger:

Googled it. Didn't see any changeling homeland, at least not a gooey one. Saw some castle-looking concept art but it wasn't anything too great...Just a castle.

It should be an intra-dimensional in-between place. A blasted wasteland in perpetual twilight. Its ruined because all the love has been sucked out of it. the spirit of the land was bled dry by changeling vampires.

 

The changelings must invade other dimensions to feed., So they developed shape shifting abilities to better feed on the unwary.

Equestria looked especially good to them as the land was magical in nature and they could even feed of of it. Had they won, Equestria would have ended up a lifeless wasteland too.

Pretty much what everybody else has been saying. I'd like to see a vast, barren, stinking wasteland riddled with ash, and dust like the Dagolad of Morder. Beneath lays a great carved catacomb, like the Diamond Dog tunnels but the walls drip with secreted resin like the Xenomorph hive of Aliens. Definitely something very surreal and Giger-inspired (minus all the sexual innuendo, of course).
