When i joined a TF2 server, i mean common srsly. Just by joining a game people have to spot the odd one out and make fun of. I find it like 1 race of human in a bunch of 10 of the same race. Other then that, People who hate the fandom are afraid that we like it and not afraid to show it. They might be shy to see the change in there face. I have seen soo many pathetic come backs what haters use. (ETC, OMG IZ AL OVER YT FAG, U INFECTED TF & ALL UDDER TINGS!) The state we live in people can be soo immature and do not ignore the shows appearance. I know they will say "BUT IT'Z EVAR WE WHERE!" Phoenix Flam 48 February 7, 2014 Share February 7, 2014 (edited) I answered a similar question for another group "Why don't people Trust Furrys" and it whittles down to the simple fact that they see you as a person who is disconnected from reality dispirit the fact that we are the most down to earth. Furry's are not trusted because they take the form of another thing and that usualy means they don't look human infact they are animals r fan made characters from comics and games. this means that a furry could take the for of a character people know ad trust like Tails for example from sonic. By becoming that character you are punting your self in the character and the character becomes everything it is in the games or shows. i mean who wouldn't trust tails, but there in lies the problem. you can look like tails and act like tails but you will never be tails. you are a trusted character and every one who sees you will have that trust in you but of cores you are only a human and trust can be broken. this is the same for brony's on the internet there are of course the people who have already snapped up the main and named characters and are using them as them self and then there are the people like me who use them selves and there personality to make OC's that make us who we are. However this is like putting on a costume and walking out, you become the character you what to be and in reality this scares people. to people we are seen as unnatural but to be honest with the people who are giving the threats but since when has any one been natural. i recon if you walked down the street in a furry costume there would be people left right and center looking at you and giving you all sorts of looks, do the same but with an MLP bag or badges or whatever MLP Merchandise you can get and you would probably be given the same looks. we are not the only group of people being threatened we are part of a small section of people who are threatened for what we like and who we wish to become. and if people cant get over it then well "Screw them" i am happy to be classed as weird makes no change to my normal life. The internet provides a cover for people so these people feel like they can say anything they want and be okay. They're basically all talk. The next thing is people love to hate on people who like things that are different. The world always needs that one thing they can hate on and deem totally unacceptable. Something my dad always tells me is that the world loves darkness, it loves hurting people and making people hurt. I think because this community is so strong and accepting people think it's an easy target to mess around with. We're so light and bright that the darkness notices us.
