Does anyone think there will be more Season Four Rarity episodes?

So I asked Meghan McCarthy that same question on Twitter, and odds are she might not respond, because she's too busy writing Season Five episodes of My Little Pony, or something.

 

But for me, I feel that there will be more Rarity episodes besides "Rarity Take Manehattan" and "Simple Ways".  Hopefully, the third Rarity episode will be a Rarity/Pinkie Pie episode, because we've already seen the show's first Applejack/Fluttershy episode.  Heck, we might as well also include a Rarity episode that has her insecure about being the only unicorn because of Twilight's transformation into an alicorn, all while Applejack keeps Pinkie as her same-species counterpart, and Rainbow Dash keeps Fluttershy as her's as well.

 

2013 had been an unfortunate year for Rarity.  The writers originally considered "Spike, At Your Service" to be a Rarity episode, but felt that she was too mean to Spike, so they made it an Applejack episode, which meant no S3 Rarity episodes.  The comics also saw Rarity reduced into a damsel-in-distress, kidnapped by the nightmare forces and transformed into the villain, Nightmare Rarity.

 

I hope I see more Rarity episodes besides the two I recently saw.  Does anyone else believe there will be more Rarity episodes?

At this point, to make up for the lack of Rarity episodes in Season 3 it would be likely for Rarity to have more episodes centered around her and from the success that we've seen Rarity have in her episodes I don't see why not. So, I think there will be more.

 

We just need to see how the overarching story arcs will turn out, then we shall see.

RTM, was very much a Ra-ra episode. (she rocked it, hard, best epi of the season!)

 

But SW, really doesnt feel like JUST a Rarity episode. It feels more like Bats! With AJ and Flutters shareing the lime light. Funny considering AJ is again used here as the mane-support (drumroll).

 

I cocked my head at the end of this episode, i had spoiled it for myself (what Ra-ra fan wouldnt have! Hail the Queen!) but upoun seeing all of it, I felt like it was almost a Fan Service Episode. Much like Derpys place in Rainbowfalls flat out made that episode pure fanservice (along with BB getting a voice).

 

We all know the writers, or directors..or..somebody, watchs our forums and goes to our deviant art pages and reads a few fics. They know how we drewl and swoon for things, and have it int he works to give them to us i am sure (expect Vinyl and Octa showing up and being vocal soon, along with more Bonbon and Lyra). That being said this episode was just a huge tease at the end, showing how far there friendship and relationship has progressed being able to mirror one another and also understand one another.

 

I have mentioned in another thread about the possibility of giving fans the shipping we want, but not for a  very very VERY long time (ie the final episode of the series). But this just felt like a big nod to us, or at least to the Rarijack fans, without actually saying anything. :shrug:

We'll probably see at least 2 more Rarity episodes(from what I remember, one of them is supposed to involve Spike, though I don't know if it was Simple Ways)

 

But if there isn't a Rarity/Rainbow Dash episode this season, I'll be a sad Megas

Honestly, I think Rarity has been going about her "special somepony search" completely wrong.  She's looking for ponies that fall under the "high class", when most of them are rude snobs.  She needs somepony genuine.

I really don't know. We already had 2 Rarity episodes this season. It defiantly makes up for the lack of Rarity episodes in season 3.

There will probably be at least one more, since we're about halfway through the season, and at least 3 episodes have to be dedicated to Twilight, Fluttershy, and Applejack so they can get their keys. That leaves about 8 episodes. Rarity will probably have about one or two dedicated to her.

So there is another new episode recently announced, this time an Applebloom episode titled "Somepony to Watch Over Me".  I just hope that after that are two more Rarity episodes.

 

If any time I only get two Rarity episodes, while the others have between three and four, it means the writers disrespected Rarity again like in Season Three, albeit unintentionally like last time.  You can do a million things with Rarity, and they could not make Rarity the focus character of "Spike, At Your Service", because she was too mean to Spike.  As a result, having less Rarity episodes than I did episodes of the other Mane Six would be criminal.  Same with the comics, where the writers had Rarity kidnapped by the nightmare forces, and eventually possessed and transformed into the villain, Nightmare Rarity.

Huh? What? Disrespected? When Rarity Takes Manehatten is just about the best episode in Season 4?

That's kind of an extreme way of putting it. It isn't about the amount of episodes a character has, or their screentime, but the quality of the screentime they get. RTM is most definitely quality screentime IMO.

I was under the impression that people liked her transformation and felt it was unique to her. Honestly, the idea feels quite appealing, having a main character be turned to a villain, and from most of the comments regarding Nightmare Rarity, people seemed to like it.

I think there might be, and yet there might not be. We'll just have to see what the remaining unannounced episodes are.

Even if Rarity doesn't get another episode, she already got what was probably the best episode of the season(so far) and also the most hilarious one, so I'd still be satisfied as long as she got some more great lines and supporting roles which are inevitable.

I would be really surprised, if Simple Ways was the last Rarity episode this season. After everything that happened in 2013 I'm sure that writers will try to satisfy her fans Season 4 was great for her so far. Rarity takes Manehattan was one of the best episodes ever and Simple Ways not only was absolutely hilarious, but also gave us a lot of possibilities for fan fics and fan arts.

Since we are in the second half of season 4 and we're halfway through with it with 2 episodes for her, which definitely makes up for the lack of in season 3 since it was focused all on Twilight with the exceptions of most of her closest friends, we would probably have more coming up, possibly one more or two.

 

Rarity's already back on her hooves as the favorite pony of some fans and she's well on he way to another episode centered on her.

I definitely think it's a major possibility, while I am not one hundred percent sure-I have to agree that after the frustration fans have expressed with her never starring in any episodes back in Season 3-I think the writers are trying to rectify that this season with the larger episode roster, which makes things much easier with more breathing room so characters aren't just restricted to a single (or no episodes) like last year.

Meghan was teasing some Sparity content on Twitter some time ago so I'm pretty confident that there will be an episode starring both of these two, especially because Spike is in need of another episode this season as well. The mere fact that Rarity got no episodes in season 3 makes me think the writers would want to do their best to ensure that she gets as many starring roles as possible this time.

i was surprised when we got a third discord episode as john delancy said he did 1-2 episodes.

 

Now i'm hearing fans trying to say he might be in the final,

 

between fans being fans and john delancy being who he is

I think season 4 was pretty good season for Rarity  had some good episodes of her really stepping up from the season 3 catastrophe
