Never thought about this actually, decided to check the first 3 pages of my post history, and they show an average of 8-12 posts per day, this with comments on blogs included, but not status updates.

But now I wonder, are the last options really meant tk be taken seriously??? Like, I already can't imagine a user making over 8000 posts per day (which is the original for 9000), now 9000? I don't think this person exists

Depends on the day, but usually it'll be around 5-6.
