The Necron Dynasties will reclaim what is theirs.

I have not actually played in a long time, due to rising prices. But I do still enjoy the universe.

While i do not play the actual tabletop game anymore i still love the warhammer 40k universe and lore, probably some of the best story in my opinion.

and so many of the factions looks so badass... Space marines looks sooooo cool I also like the imperial guard in particular, even tho i played necrons in the tabletop game

And so they have begun to gather at last.

Just as planned.

The aweful truth is that I was 10 when I played the actual table top game and my models were aweful and im pretty sure we didnt play the way we did. Warhammer has stuck with me for my whole life.. started when i was maybe 7, while i dont play warhammer at the moment it will probably stick with me for the rest of my life. Just like MLP FiM will

They shall be my finest warriors, these men who give of themselves to me. Like clay I shall mould them and in the furnace of war forge them. They shall be of iron will and steel sinew. In great armour I shall clad them and with the mightiest weapons they will be armed. They will be untouched by plague or disease; no sickness shall blight them. They shall have such tactics, strategies and machines that no foe can best them in battle. They are my bulwark against the Terror. They are the Defenders of Humanity. They are my Space Marines and they shall know no fear.

I'm with the Space Marines till the day I die (or Celestia demands otherwise). I mean, how awesome are these guys?

Warhammer 40k is so rich and just... Awesome. I wish I could try my hand at the tabletop game, but all I got are a few novels yet to be read, the movie, the wiki to help me keep up with the lore and the PS3 game.

For dumb, self-important fics about mythology, ponies and fascist griffons that can't figure friendship out.

And I'm just getting started.

As a Tzeentch worshiper, Khorne is just as bad if not worse than Loyalists.

Change is the only constant. I'm just happy to be a wielder of that constant.

I kept on thinking to myself that I should make a thread based on Warhammer 40K. But, it looks like you beat me to it. I love Warhammer 40K with a passion. I don't play the tabletop game, since it's too expensive for me. I play the video games and read the novels based on it.

My friend tried to get me into Warhammer 40k, got a set of Tyranids and Necrons... Enjoyed building the models and painting some of them but we never actually played the damn game lol. Still have them and often consider selling, they just sit in storage collecting dust.

I Do like the dawn of war serries and the space marine game ( although they shoud've made more for you to do after the campaign)

I would like to start painting again as a hobby since i have alot of free time at the moment but the amount you would have to spend is so ridiculous

I remember that being the case aswell.. I started with the warhammer fantasy and we painted those for like 2 years or something but we never played a single game.. although i got to try 40k even though pretty much none of us had read the rule books..

Come to think of it, painting the models and lining them up on my desk was probably the most fun i had with the actual table top game.

Have you taken a moment to consider the one real truth of Slannesh?

I did that once... Best night of my life... Never again.

Hi, everyone!

I've got into this universe only a couple of years ago, but this universe is a blast! It has almost everything that I like about sci-fi!

Never played in table wh40k games, but played in computer games a lot.

So, yeah, I like Warhammer 40k too :)

C'mon, they've got chainswords! Chainswords! What's else awesome sci-fi universe need  :D

But not much love and tolerance thing, though  :)
