    People are often predictable. When they act or perform precisely as I expect, I'll say "clockwork". At work I tend to say "it's not rocket science!" because the tasks are so simple, yet they struggle.

    I believed the faucet on the laundry room sink would flood the house. The water pressure was very high it was very noisy. I'd run out of the room whenever it was turned on.

    I've had a few dreams where I've died and not woke up. Crushed under a boulder, executed at point plank, gunned down in a convenience store, melted by radiation in space. I die and just lay there for a bit still in my body, except for the space one, I just drifted among the stars. I don't die anymore and I barely get hurt by anything and have this strange, dark power. Might be due to my overactive imagination creating this alter ego in my subconscious. Super powers are awesome! If only IRL...

    My friend tried to get me into Warhammer 40k, got a set of Tyranids and Necrons... Enjoyed building the models and painting some of them but we never actually played the damn game lol. Still have them and often consider selling, they just sit in storage collecting dust.

    Once in a while, I have these dreams where I am in hell. Here's one of the weird ones: I am walking with a group of people through some kind of marsh. There are many pools with several odd, fleshy lumps floating in the water, like giant slugs. Amidst them are people's heads sticking out of the water with horrified looks upon their faces but completely motionless. One guy feels the need to help them and tries to reach out to one of them but the ground gives way and he falls in. The slug things begin to vibrate violently in the water and one of them darts towards the man, diving below the surface and emerging to bite with huge jaws and long, sharp teeth. After one chomp, it opens its mouth and I see the man is stuck inside with dozens of razor teeth piercing him. It just sits there for a moment then an imp comes from somewhere, hopping across the dormant slugs to this man where it jumps on him, pressing him through the teeth, shredding his flesh. After this man has been shoved down the creature's throat, a portal appears above the water and the man falls through, back into the water but completely whole once more. As he tries to swim to land, it happens again. At this moment we all realize those people in the water who are scared and still, are trying to avoid this cycle. Wake up!

    I've had to a few times. Most recently when I walked into a robbery in progress at a convenience store. I won't forget that muffled sound of shotgun blasts coming from inside the building. Dumbass thugs tried to open the atm with a 12 guage lol. Thankfully the cashier was ok and told me all about it the next day and hooked me up with a coffee for being the guy that spooked the thugs and called 911. They were caught that same night.

    I'd say my first impressions depend on the person I am meeting. For me, it seems like a waste of time making acquaintances so I don't even bother. As far as people online go, I can't get past the thought that it is just words in a box. The box does not care about me, nor do I it. Can't say I try to make a good impression, I just be myself and let relationships form naturally.

    LOL. First off, kiddo, I do know how to use my fists, but of course I use my brain first to avoid fighting to begin with. Cracks me up every time some one assumes I am weak for being tactically smarter, or 'pansy', if you will. Knuckles are a combat multiplier, simple as that. Fighting "fair" was something I abandoned long ago after getting my ass kicked too many times. I am not that big or strong and am too handsome to risk facial damage. Honestly though, I have never used them in a fight and hopefully won't have to. I agree that lethal/excessive force should be the last resort. Although, I'm more of an eye gouge guy as opposed to throat crushing.

    Funny, I was thinking the fingernail clippers were the weird item. Even when I lived in California I carried illegally. Once I find a decent holster for my 9mm I will carry that instead. Funnier still, no permit is required for concealed carry of firearms where I live. Some rules don't make sense to me and that is why I break them without fear of consequences. I do not recommend this for everyone. Be responsible, people!

    My Vinyl Scratch and Octavia came in the mail yesterday. Went digging through my 1/6 props just for these pics. Vinyl and Octavia epic wub time, I should have dug deeper to find the records that go with the turntable It's a 1/6 scale violin, not a cello, that's why it's so small.     7/10 I love the pose and her facial expression. Right foreleg looks a bit off and her tail appears a bit short and not as wild as I'm used to seeing. I feel the initials do not compliment the piece overall. The shading on her mane looks good, I think the same technique would have looked good on the hooves. The left side of the image is darker, was that intentional? Really makes the light source feel more prominent. Either way, it came out well. In the art world I am a bit of a nobody so don't take my critique too harshly Again, her eyes/face are excellent! Keep it up!

    I'll appreciate winter more when I move out of Alaska. We have two seasons here: spring and winter. Winter lasts longer. I don't mind snow but I get cold easily. Can't wait to move!

    I worked at Taco Bell when I was younger. Hungry people can be real jackasses. This guy wants to see a manager for some gripe. The manager fails to satisfy him and returns behind the counter. The angry man then begins to vent on me over how bad the service was and this and that. Ultimately yelling "I AM GOING TO REPORT YOU THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND HAVE YOUR JOBS!" Implying getting us fired. I started laughing. Angry people reallllly hate being laughed at. Anyway, after my chuckle I asked him if he thought I couldn't find another shit job dealing with assholes like him for minimum wage. He stormed out the door and we never heard anything as a result. Another job working at Rite Aid, formerly Thrifty's, which had an ice cream bar inside: Food safety first, when you enter the ice cream area you must wash your hands of course. I did, then rang up this older lady and was about to start scooping her ice cream. She snapped at me for not washing her hands after handling her "dirty money". Okay, she was in the right for saying this, money is quite filthy. I wash my hands and scoop up her cone and begin to hand it to her but stop as she reaches for it and pull it back, asking if she'd like to wash her hands before I give it to her. Hey, she touched the same money, right? It came from her damn purse. She snaps "NO!" and snatches it from my hand when I put it within reach. My supervisor was behind me and had to turn her back to avoid being seen laughing as I did this. Then gave me a pat on the back for sticking to the bitch, even though it was wrong.

    I've been wanting to write but have been procrastinating. I want to participate in this and see if I can hit the goal. I hate my job right now so it'll be easy to call off now and then throughout November. I have a few ideas that have yet to be outlined so we'll see how this goes. Goodbye GTA5, I need to be more productive. Signed up. Nervous, anxious, scared, excited. At least I'll be doing this in the comfort of my room.

    It depends on how sunny/bright it is. It feels brighter outside when it's overcast than when the sun is shining. Most of the time my transition lenses are adequate but when it's really bright, I throw the aviators on over my glasses. Aviator shades: The best $10 convenience store purchase ever!

    1. Violin. In my opinion, the violin produces a sound that is simultaneously sad and sweet and those who play well can invoke powerful emotions. Right now I only invoke anger with my terrible playing. 2.Markmanship. I enjoy shooting recreationally but would like to be able to quick draw in an emergency and hit my target with as few shots as possible.

    I bought the funko figures a couple weeks ago off amazon. Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash Have been out of their boxes, Derpy has not. This is because her package is shrink wrapped with a sticker that says Derpy Hooves with the bar code. As some of you may know, the package itself does not state her name. I'll carefully peel the wrap off and get her out eventually. I scored the lunchbox at the store this morning. It was out of place in the food section, I passed it a couple times before I caved in and grabbed it. It's kind of interesting, Fluttershy is the center pony, the other 5 are behind her with expressions of uncertainty. the sides feature thumbnail pics of several background ponies in kind of a checkerboard pattern. Comes with trading cards, tattoos and some other items (it is not opened as I type this). Pics taken on my crappy stupidphone, apologies!
